Acrylic copolymer emulsion is a kind of polymer emulsion. Because of its excellent waterproof performance, weather resistance and alkali resistance, it has a broad prospect in industrial application, and has been applied to some extent.But the industrialization of acrylic emulsion polymer has many difficulties, because the polymerization reaction is a free radical exothermic polymerizing reaction with repeatability and radical polymerization. In this paper, in view of the existing acrylic emulsion polymer production problems, starting from the preparation process, the industrial production conditions, characteristics, effects of reaction conditions of H3600emulsion polymer on properties, process conditions were optimized. In addition, analysising and researching on the problems in the process of polymerization acrylic emulsion polymerization, and put forward specific solutions.H3600emulsion polymerization reaction is a out-add seed polymerization reaction. The experimental results show that, the polymerization of H3600belongs to the highly exothermic free radical polymerization reaction, using ammonium persulfate as initiator, sodium acetate as a pH buffer, generating speed of free radicals can be controlled effectively to reducing the rate of polymerization and heat releasing, fundamentally preventing the occurrence of radical emulsion phenomenon of polymer in the process polymerization; Improving the initial initiator temperature can effectively improve the viscosity of polymer emulsion,make the particle size decreased. The continuous dropping of reactive monomers can make the product viscosity and solid content to keep within a reasonable range; The stirring speed was about70rpm, the product particle size and film forming can be got better.If it is too low, although the grain size of the product is normal, but the filtrate solid content can be drossed; Adding a little uncle ethylene carbonate amount to1.1times of the normal amount, can make the viscosity of emulsion polymerization products increased, membrane properties for emulsion polymers; With the addition of monomer feeding speed, the speed of polymerization, polymerization degree and viscosity increased, the particle size becomes large; But with the increase of acceleration initiator, but the degree of polymerization reduced, the particle size becomes smaller, the filter material solid content increased, but generally maintained at a low level, less than500ppm.Through analysis of the phenomenon of polymerization reaction of late is due to coil and a stirring shaft on the residual monomer fouling due to control can be taken to remove the coil, and cyclic condensation method of material removal of reaction heat. The experimental results show that, after the removal of coil, through the outer loop condenser to remove the reaction heat, can effectively prevent the occurrence of polymerization phenomenon, the product quality is improved.
