Study Of The Efficiency Of Enterprise Resources And Environment On The Basis Of Improved DEA

For the intensified attention caused by environmental pollution in China and the introduction of relevant laws and regulations,enterprises should not only pay attention to the benefits from resources,but also take responsibility for environmental pollution caused by production.However,as producers and suppliers in the market,enterprises usually give priority to economic benefits,often only to see the short-term profits from reduction of environmental investment in short while,ignored the cost which increased by environmental protection investment can be offset by increase the utilization level of resources and the possibility of turns the external threats into new opportunities for enterprise development.Although domestic and foreign experts used different methods to study resource efficiency and environmental efficiency from different perspectives,but on the one hand,the study on the efficiency of resources mostly from the perspective of government regulation,and does not take into account the external factors that affected efficiency,In particular,environmental variables such as ownership,govemment laws and regulations,which are not controlled by the enterprise,can cause evaluation errors due to it's influence on enterprise resource efficiency.On the other hand,the research of environmental efficiency has just made progress in recent years,but these are studies mainly from the perspective of a single factor or total factor productivity,it's lack of integrative analysis of resource efficiency and environmental efficiency.In fact,resources and environmental factors are the endogenous variables of enterprise development,it has a rigid constraint to scale and speed of enterprise economy,this is very necessary and urgent to re-examine and evaluate the level of economic development of enterprises from the perspective of resource and environment.Therefor,from the micro perspective,this article is combined with related theories to define the resource efficiency and environmental efficiency of the enterprise which is based on carding the relationship of enterprise resources and the environment,Clarify the inner link between resource efficiency and environmental efficiency,study to combine resource efficiency and environmental efficiency as a whole.To provides some modification of theoretical model of ISBM-DEA on the basis of the actual production of the enterprise as while as to compensate for traditional DEA defects by the combined use of SBM-DEA,ISBM-DEA method and three-stage DEA,and analyze enterprise resource efficiency and environmental efficiency by the systematic improved DEA method,to provide reference for enterprises to enhance green value and realize green development.This paper is divided into three parts:background,theory and empirical research:Background section describes the background aand significance,the present research situation,research contents,framework and nd the purpose of the study methods of the research at home and abroad are also introduced.The theory part constructs the theoretical basis and research ideas on the basis of arranges,analyzes and summarizes the concepts of resources and environment through relevant theories.At the same time,it put forward that research method and mathematical model of enterprise resource efficiency and environmental efficiency.The empirical part takes the forest-paper listed companies as an example to analyze and compare the results,and draws the following major conclusions:From the view of enterprise resource efficiency,Most of the case enterprise's overall resource efficiency has declined when them got into the structural adjustment period which is under the influence of increase of new capacity and continues decrease of paper consumption growth from201oto2012.From the view of environmental efficiency,The development trend of environmental efficiency values and resource efficiency values are roughly synchronous,but the comparison shows that the environmental efficiency value is generally lower than the resource efficiency value.From the view of the influence of factors,the impact of existing technology on enterprise resource efficiency and environmental efficiency is greater than the impact of scale,the impact of visible resources and invisible resources on enterprise resource efficiency and environmental efficiency is greater than the impact of human resources.On the whole,The combination of the three types of resources and the combination of expansion of the scale and the full play of the existing technology is the key to traditional resource-based enterprises to avoid resource path dependence and achieve green development of enterprises.
