Pillar[n]arenes were the first synthesized in 2008,that consist of p-hydroquinone ether or hydroquinone through the methylene bridged,their were known the fifth generation of supramolecular macrocyles host after the crown ether,cyclodextrin,calixarene,cucurbiturea.The host-guest complex was regarded as one of the most significant research directions of supramolecule chemistry,and the discovery of pillar[n]arenes greatly promoted the development of supramolecule chemistry.Relative to other macrocyles,the structure of pillar[n]arenes had higher symmetry and rigidity,and its unique rich electron cavity structure made they occupied an important position in host-guest chemistry,including the host-guest recognition,drug release,artificial transmembrane channel,catalysis,nanomaterials and other fields.Based on the main position and potential application of pillar[n]arenes in supramolecular research field,a single functional pillar[5]arene was synthesized and its selective recognition of ions had been studied.The mechanisms of host-guest recognition based on PN and their metal complex were further revealed as a fluorescence chemosensor.The first chapter,from the first discovery of pillar[5]arenes,the synthesis of pillar[6]arenes to the development of functionalization pillar[n]arenes as the main thread.We introduced the application of pillar[n]arenes and its derivatives in molecular recognition based on host-guest complexation.In the second chapter,the single functionalized pillar[5]arenes derivative PN as a host compound,the selective recognition of ions were studied.The results shown that the host PN was not only responsive to the metal cations,but the PN-Cu metal complex had a single selectivity for CN-ions in DMSO solution.The PN-Cu metal complex could able to achieve rapid response to CN-ions at low concentrations.The third chapter also studied the properties of host PN as a fluorescent sensor.The research results shown that PN also had a rapid response to F-ions in the case of in the presence of Fe3+ions,and PN-Fe could be used as a fluorescence sensor to detect F-ions at low concentration in DMSO solution,The detect process had no others ions interference.Based on the cetyl and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole functionalized pillar[5]arenes as host moleculars,the self-assembled were proved between the host,respectively.And then 1.8-octanediamine as a guest molecular,the complex properties were studied between the hosts and guest in the last chapter.The results shown that except the self-assembled among of hosts were verified,the host-guest complex were also achieved between the host and guest molecule by C-H…?and hydrogen bonding.
