Graphene with its unique mechanical, electrical and chemical properties and unique structure has great application value in the future high-tech fields. The preparation of graphene/polymer nanocomposites by using graphene as a filler material not only opens up new research ideas for the preparation of high-performance composite materials, but also opens a new chapter for the application of graphene. It can be seen that graphene is used. The mechanical properties of modified nylon 6 have important research significance. However, graphene is chemically inert, and there are problems such as easy aggregation and poor interfacial bonding in nylon 6 matrix, which seriously affect the relevant properties of composite materials.Based on this, this dissertation aims to improve the mechanical properties of Nylon 6,by modifying the graphene series, and using FTIR,XRD,TG,XPS and other testing methods to characterize the microstructure and mechanical properties.Effect of Functionalized Graphene on Mechanical Properties of Composites.Firstly, the side wall carboxyl functionalization of GO was carried out by means of radical addition method using succinic acid acyl peroxide. The product was characterized by spectrum and its dispersibility was examined. The results showed that the carboxyl radicals grafted onto GO surface by covalent bond, which increased the carboxyl content of GO surface by more than 7.6%.By observing the dispersion of GO and CFGO in water and toluene,it was found that the carboxylated CFGO has better dispersion stability in the polar solvent(water),but the dispersion performance is better than GO in the non-polar solvent(toluene).difference.Secondly,PA6 graft modification was performed on carboxylated CFGO by in-situ polymerization and the grafting effect was characterized. The results showed that with the increase of CFGO content, the molecular weight of nylon 6 polymer gradually decreased, and the highest grafting rate of CFGO-0.1 was calculated to be 87%by thermogravimetric analysis.Finally,PNG/PA6 nanocomposites were prepared by physical blending method. The effects of different amounts of PNG on the mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. The results showed that with the increase of PNG content, the tensile strength and flexural strength of PNG/PA6 showed a tendency of decreasing after the first addition. When the content of PNG was 0.5wt%,the tensile strength and bending strength of composites reached the maximum,96.6MPa and104.5MPa,respectively,increased by 17%and 23.3%compared with pure PA6.The impact strength reaches a maximum of 8.95KJ/m~2 when the PNG content is 0.3wt%,which is 51%higher than that of pure PA6.When the PNG content exceeds 0.3wt%,the impact strength of the composite material begins to decrease.
