Cellulose has the advantages of high stability,safety,easy modification in the widely nature.It has broad prospects in the field of mineral processing.In this paper,scheelite,calcite and fluorite are used as research objects to discuss the flotation separation behavior of cellulose inhilbitors in scheelite and calcium gangue.Through the single mineral flotation test,the effects of the types of cellulose inhibitors,viscosity,amount and metal ions on the flotation behavior of three kinds of calcium containing minerals were investigated in detail.The inhibition mechanism of cellulose inhibitors on the surface of three minerals of scheelite,fluorite and calcite by contact angle test,UV absorption test,atomic force microscopy and infrared spectroscopy,draw the following conclusions:(1)Methyl cellulose,hydroxyethyl cellulose,carboxymethyl cellulose and twelve alkylbenzene sulfonic acid carboxymethyl cellulose basically have no inhibitory effect on scheelite,except for methyl cellulose,the other three kinds of cellulose have inhibitory effects on calcite and fluorite,and the inhibition effect of the calcite is stronger than fluorite,the order of inhibition effect is as follows:carboxymethyl cellulose>twelve alkylbenzene sulfonic acid carboxymethyl cellulose>hydroxyethyl cellulose.The experimental results showed that when the range of pH is 6-10,the inhibition effect of cellulose inhibitors was the best.When pH is greater than 10,the inhibition effect of cellulose inhibitors decreased.At the same time,experiments showed that Fe3+,Mg2+,Ca2+ and A13+ can enhance the inhibition effect of cellulose drugs(2)The contact angle test can be obtained:methyl cellulose can not change the contact angle of scheelite,hydroxyethyl cellulose and carboxymethyl cellulose can not change the contact angle of scheelite,but can reduce the contact angle of fluorite and calcite;twelve benzene sulfonic acid-carboxymethyl cellulose can slightly increase scheelite contact angle,and can reduce the contact angle of fluorite and calcite.(3)The UV adsorption capacity test can be obtained:methyl cellulose can not reduce the adsorption of sodium oleate on Scheelite,calcite and fluorite;and hydroxyethyl cellulose,carboxymethyl cellulose and twelve alkylbenzene sulfonic acid carboxymethyl cellulose can not reduce the adsorption of sodium oleate on the surface of scheelite,but they can reduce the adsorption of sodium oleate on calcite and fluorite.(4)Atomic force microscope image observation can be obtained:the surface of the three kinds of minerals treated by methyl cellulose is basically smooth without any chemical adsorption;hydroxyethyl cellulose is not adsorbed on the surface of scheelite,but strongly adsorbed on the surface of fluorite and calcite.The adsorption shape on the surface of fluorite is irregular,and the adsorption shape on the calcite surface is mostly round;carboxymethyl cellulose is basically not adsorbed on scheelite surface,and its adsorption on the surface of calcite is round;and the adsorption properties on the surface of fluorite are irregular;twelve the adsorption of alkylbenzene sulfonic acid carboxymethyl cellulose on calcite surface is irregular,and the shape of adsorption on the surface of fluorite is massive adsorption.(5)Infrared spectrum test analysis found that:carboxymethyl cellulose can not adsorb on Scheelite surface,but has strong adsorption behavior on calcite and fluorite surface.
