Coal is one of the most important energy in China.A large scale of mineral dust generated in the mining process with advanced mechanical automation,which not only causes occupational health risks,such as pneumoconiosis and other respiratory diseases and may also lead to underground fire and explosion accident,leading damage to property staff.In the process of surface of coal mining operations in mining machinery and mechanized mining which is the highest concentration of coal dust,according to a new version of "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" provides that the dust concentration must be controlled within the allowable range to protect workers occupational safety health and regular production.With advanced mechanical automation,wet filter combines efficiency and low resistance characteristics of wet dust precipitator and dust filtration,which can control mine dust effectively,but so far the researchers have not studied enough in wet filter precipitator.In order to narrow these gaps,this paper studied the theory of wet dust and dust filter,developed wet filter precipitator,tested the performance of the precipitator and made two optimization for deficiencies.This paper describeb the mechanism of wet filter precipitator,which combined with the jet breaking theory,atomizing mechanism and wet filter layer film crushing mechanism and theory inertial impaction,interception and diffusion spray water film capture mechanism;analyzed wet filter composite precipitator efficiency,considered the role of a single droplet collection efficiency,wet scrubbers classification efficiency,the metal grid of intercepting efficiency and other factors.This paper tested the performance of the designed wet filter precipitator.It not only studied the resistance characteristics of the different conditions in metal grid,mist and dust of precipitator in two types that a metal grid area and the defogger area calculated respectively,but also tested dust collection efficiency of the precipitator at the wind speed of 2 m/s and 4 m/s.The results showed that the defogger accounted nearly for 80%of the total resistance.The collection efficiency was 98.52%at 2 m/s and was 98.57%at 4 m/s.This paper optimized dust removal system twice foucing on several problems which we had met at the last time.After fitting the relationship between total resistance and wind speed metal grid or mist and dust,it found that the metal grid resistance was a linear relationship between wind speed and dust,mist resistance,while dust resistance and defogger resistance were the polynomial relationships.The removal efficiency had also been optimized significantly improved to 99.37%at 2 m/s,which was 0.85%higher than 98.52%in the initial test and 0.51%higher than 98.86%by the initial improvement.Meanwhile,the dust collection efficiency of the test was 98.93%at 4m/s,which was 0.36%higher than 98.57%in the initial test at 4 m/s and 0.24%higher than 98.69%by the initial improvement.
