Friction welding technology is a high efficiency and low energy consumption green advanced manufacturing technology.It is widely used in aerospace,cutting tool manufacturing,machine manufacturing,petrochemical,automobile manufacturing and other industries.It is divided into friction stir welding,phase friction welding,linear friction welding and so on.Linear friction welding is one of the most excellent properties.It has been applied to many fields,such as machinery,chemical manufacturing,aerospace and so on.The principle of linear friction welding is the relative high frequency movement of two pieces of workpiece under the positive pressure of the top forging,the heating of the contact surface friction,which makes the metal of the welding surface become visco plastic,the metal flow in the welding area,and then the metal diffusion and recrystallization of the welding area through continuous upsetting,so as to achieve the welding purpose.Compared with the traditional welding method,linear friction welding can not only produce high quality joints with low welding cost,but also the linear friction welding technology can overcome the limitation of the shape of welding parts that must be round section.The research on linear friction welding electro-hydraulic servo system has just started in China.It is very necessary and practical to carry out the basic research and application of the linear friction welding technology as soon as possible to promote the rapid development of China's technology and equipment manufacturing level and the aero engine manufacturing industry.In this paper,a part of the servo control system of the top forging system of the linear friction welding equipment is designed.The technical indexes of the system are realized through the reasonable hardware and software design,and the correctness and the realization of the control function of the design of the forged servo control system are verified through the physical connection.In this article,The main tasks as follows are completed:1.introduces the research background,application field and working principle of linear friction welding,and introduces the overall structure and technical requirements of the system.2.hardware selection according to design objectives and tasks,including hydraulic cylinder,servo valve,sensor,controller,board and so on.3.through the analysis of the structural characteristics and working principles of the system,two control schemes are obtained,and a more suitable one is selected.Finally,the top forging control system is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders with long and short strokes in series,and the top forging long cylinder is controlled by closed loop displacement and double closed loop control is adopted for the short cylinder of the top forging.4.based on the successful development of the hardware platform,we develop the control system.According to the control function to determine the hardware composition,the hardware of the forging control system mainly consists of the forged long cylinder,the forged short cylinder,the long cylinder servo valve,the long cylinder proportional pressure valve,the short cylinder servo valve,the short cylinder proportional pressure valve,the long cylinder magnetostrictive displacement sensor,the long cylinder two chamber pressure sensor,the short cylinder magnetostrictive displacement sensor,and the short cylinder two.Cavity pressure sensor,DELTA RMC150 E motion controller and so on.In the software part,the top forging control program controls the position and force of the long cylinder and the short cylinder through the RMC motion controller,and collects the position data and force data of the long cylinder and the short cylinder.The program can control the movement of the upsetting hydraulic cylinder separately,or receive the upper computer command to control the forging part and return the relevant state information.5.physical connection,hardware verification,proved the feasibility of the control system.In this paper,a linear friction welding top forging servo control system is successfully designed by means of theoretical research,hardware construction,software compilation and simulation analysis to realize the technical index of the linear friction welding top forging system.The hardware verification is carried out and the correctness of the scheme is confirmed.
