With the increasing automobiles in China,the accompanying traffic accidents have always caused a huge loss to the national economy.Therefore,how to assist vehicle driving safely has become a focus among traffic community.This paper first proposes a safety distance model of Urban Roads to avoid vehicle rear collision,then builds a rear end braking model in Carsim and Matlab/Simulink to verify the safety distance model.Based on the model,we design an early warning device for driving safety on urban road.The main works are as follows:(1)We propose a new safety distance model.Assuming the existence of Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC)system,the safe distance suitable for urban road driving is given.(2)The braking system is built in Carsim and Simulink,and the software interface between Carsim and Simulink is expounded.The feasibility of safety distance the model is verified by software simulation analysis.(3)A vehicle safety driving warning system is put forward to monitor the driver's single-hand or off-hand steering wheel.At the same time,the risk level is determined by the speed of vehicle and the speed of the yaw angle,and the warning and deceleration aid of the corresponding risk level are realized.(4)Both the hardware part and the software part of the vehicle Rear-end Collision warning system are designed.Finally,a vehicle safety driving warning device is designed and made.
