The development area of the East and west transitional area in P block of S Oilfield is large,and the geological reserves account for 16.65% of the whole P block.The oilfield has been developed in 300 or 400 meters areal patterns in 70 s.At present,the area of the transition zone is 125-175 meters through the holistic first drilling wells,second infill wells in local area and integrated management.Because the transition zone of P block in S oilfield is located in the East and West wings of the anticline structure,it is affected by reservoir sedimentation,oil layer depth and compaction.The development of oil layer,porosity and permeability,fluid property and formation pressure are all different from the pure oil area.Compared with the pure oil area,the comprehensive water cut in the block is 1.93 percentage points higher,the recovery degree and the oil production rate are 15.93 and 0.74 percentage points lower,respectively.The thickness of the thick oil layer is not uniform,the thin and poor reservoirs are controlled by multi direction water drive,the ratio of low efficiency wells and long shut wells is high,and the density of working well network is low.The corresponding relationship between some wells and layers should be further improved.Therefore,in order to improve the recovery of the transition zone and improve the effect of the development of the block,it is necessary to study deeply and explore the effective way to dig the remaining oil in the transitional zone.Aiming at the problems such as low recovery degree of the transition zone,low degree of water flooding control,large injection production interval in some wells,imperfect injection production and other problems,the potential of remaining oil in the transition zone is studied,and the current situation of the remaining oil types and development in the transition zone is clarified.According to the different types of residual oil,by adopting the encryption adjustment and comprehensive utilization,old layers and well integrated network by using two kinds of potential,better development effect,provide an important basis for the transition zone development adjustment.
