Industrial Agglomeration And Regional Ecological Efficiency

Since the reform and opening up,Chinese economy has been developing very fast,China has contributed more than 30% to the world's economic growth.However,the growth of China's economy is at the cost of excessive consumption of resources and environmental pollution.After the baptism of the forty years of economic reform,China has entered the late stage of industrialization,but China is still the largest energy consumer in the world.Compared with developed countries,energy development and utilization efficiency is still at a low level.Chinese industry especially the industry,for a long time,are in the production of high consumption,high emissions,high pollution and high investment,simply the pursuit of economic growth,ignoring the protection of the environment,resulting in a large number of resource consumption,which caused serious environmental pollution,causing serious damage to the ecological the China environment system.While industrial agglomeration promotes economic development,it also brings many problems to the ecological environment.In the rapid development of economy,resources and n the rapid development of economy,resources and environment problems have attracted more and more attention.environment problems have attracted more and more attention.Ecological efficiency emphasizes the unity of economic value and environmental benefit,which can reflect the coordinated development level of economy,resources and environment.This paper uses data from 30 provinces and cities of China for 2000-2015 years,investigates the three aspects of economy,environment and resources,and uses the super efficiency DEA model to calculate the ecological efficiency values of each province in the past years.The Malmquist index of annual average ecological efficiency and the Malmquist index of ecological efficiency in every 2002-2015 years were calculated,from three decomposition parts(technological progress,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency),analyzing ecological efficiency through the method of lateral comparison and longitudinal comparison.The results show that there are differences Chinese ecological efficiency in various provinces and cities,regional ecological efficiency presents "East West High low,gradually converge".Therefore,on the basis of a more detailed review of the related literature of industrial agglomeration and ecological efficiency,based on specialized production and diversified production,the theoretical analysis of the impact of industrial agglomeration on ecological efficiency is carried out.Then,starting from the integrity of the ecological environment,we investigate the impact of industrial agglomeration on the eco efficiency of different industries,and the difference between the specialization and diversification of production.The specialization of the manufacturing industry can significantly improve the ecological efficiency,and the effect is greater than the diversified production.When analyzing direct and indirect effects,it is found that specialization and diversification of manufacturing industry can significantly enhance the efficiency of local eco efficiency,but the effect on improving the ecological environment in adjacent areas is not obvious.The specialization and diversification of producer services do not play a significant role in promoting ecological efficiency.The specialization of producer services can only improve the ecological environment of the region,while diversification can neither improve the local ecological efficiency nor improve the ecological efficiency of the neighboring areas.
