Porous granular anfo explosive,three commonly used heavy anfo explosives(mass ratio of emulsion explosive and porous granular anfo are 25:75,50:50,75:25,respectively)and emulsion explosive were studied.The thermochemical parameters of explosives described above were calculated and compared.The explosion reaction equations of them were established based on B-W rule;constant volume explosion heat of them was calculated based on hess law;and their specific heat capacity(SHC)were also counted w:ith the method of weighted averages.Calculations show that the explosion heat and explosion temperature of heavy anfo explosive decrease with the increase of the content of emulsion matrix and the influence of emulsion matrix content on the constant volume explosion heat of HANFO is greater than that on explosion temperature.By testing the detonation velocity of the explosives,one conclusion that the detonation velocity of the HANFO explosives increases significantly with the increase of the ratio of the emulsion matrix could be drawn.All of the obtained conclusions above can provide a certain reference for the design and optimization of heavy anfo explosive formulation and be able to evaluate the detonation properties of HANFO better.A CALVET calorimeter C80 was used to analyze the thermal behavior of the five explosive samples described above.The thermal kinetic parameters,such as,apparent activation energy,the thermal decomposition onset temperature and the critical temperature of thermal explosion and so on were calculated based on the heat flux data in C80 curve with the heating rate of 0.2 K·min-1.According to the above description,it could be concluded that the heavy anfo explosives is safe in the process of production and their application.To sum up,the results of this study provides a theoretical basis for preventing occurrence of burning explosion accident.
