In general honing process,the abrasive particles of oilstone surface are irregularly arranged and passively controlled,which lead to the dynamic effective grain number which participate in honing decreases,the chip space on the oilstone surface is difficult to control,and it's easy to blockage the oilstone working surface.Thus result make the honing force increasing,and the honing performance of oil stone reduced,the irregularities of surface texture and other issues generated.To resolve the above problems,in this paper orderly abrasive arrangement on oilstone,surface has proposed.Through three kinds of ordering abrasive arrangements on oilstone surface,including grain array,staggered,phyllotactic pattern,the abrasive distribution on oilstone surface has regularized,it will has important meaning to improve the using performance of oilstone.The main work of the thesis is as follows:Firstly,based on Van Iterson's equation in phyllotaxis theory,the effects of the phyllotaxis coefficient,the divergence angle and the abrasive radius on the grains configuration on oilstone surface were analyzed.Accoding analysis results,optimal parameters for oilstone design were selected and the oilstones with grain array,staggered,phyllotactic pattern had been designed.Then,the trajectory equations of the abrasive particles in honing were established,the kinematic conditions for plateau surface are obtained,with the help of the trajectory equations and the kinematic conditions,the honing surface trajectory by the oilstones with orderly abrasive pattern were simulated.Secondly,the research on manufacturing technology of honing stone is carried out.the influence factors of the high equivalence of the abrasive particles on the surface electroplated CBN oilstones were analyzed,and a kind of the method for improving the high equivalence of abrasive grains on the surface of the oilstone,namely,the hydraulic sedimentation separation method,was proposed,and selecting principle,process and results were analyzed,and the selected abrasive particles were determined for the fabrication of the oilstone.The electroplating processes,operating specifications for the monolayer ordered oilstones and the cause of electroplating defects were analyzed in detail,and finally the ordered abrasive oilstones satisfying experimental requirements were fabricated.Finally,the honing experiments by the oilstones with orderly abrasive pattern were carried out.Through the measurement and analysis of the abrasive wear on the oilstone surface,the relationship between the abrasive wear on the oilstone surface and different pattern was obtained,and also the honing forces and the honed surface topography by the electroplating CBN oilstones with abrasive phyllotactic,array and staggered pattern,which have the same configuration parameters,were analyzed under the same condition of honing pressure.the results show that the oilstone with abrasive phyllotactic pattern is less wearable than other pattern,honing by the oilstones with oderly abrasive pattern can obtain a regular textured surface,and improve honing efficiency,the honing performance by the oilstone with abrasive phyllotactic pattern is better than the other pattern.
