In the late 1980s,with wetland research works carried out continuously, the wetland ecosystem health evaluation research gradually become a frontier and hot research field in the world and received extensive attention of scholars. However,at present the wetland research in this area is mainly focused on the ecological safety evaluation or health evaluation of the middle and lower reaches of the tumen river and it is extremely rare to study the health evaluation of the wetland ecosystem in the entire region of yanbian prefecture.Considering the close relationship between yanbian wetland and regional economic development,it is urgent to conduct special systematic research on the wetland in this area. Therefore this study is taking yanbian wetland as the research object, starting from the health of yanbian wetland ecosystem,a set of wetland ecosystem health evaluation system applicable to yanbian prefecture was established.According to the result of health assessment of yanbian wetland ecosystem, the paper puts forward to the control strategies and Suggestions, which will promote the restoration of health status of wetland ecosystem and realize sustainable development.(1)The ecological health evaluation index system of yanbian wetland ecosystem was constructed from 23 indexes from three aspects. In the corresponding national and local standards to determine the indexes of evaluation standard, will be promoting the wetland ecosystem health level is divided intohealth,sub-health,mild degradation, moderate degradation and degeneration.(2)According to the established index system, the evaluation weight was determined by analytic hierarchy process, and the weighted average method was used to evaluate the 6,328 wetland in yanbian prefecture. The number of healthy plaque is 109 and accounts for about 2%of the total patches. The number of sub-health plaque is 1697 and accounts for about 27%of the total patches. The number of mild degradation plaqueis 1588and accounts for about 25%of the total patche. The number of moderate degradation plaqueis 2202 and accounts for about 35%of the total patches. The number of degeneration of plaqueis 732 and accounts for about 11%of the total patches. The area of healthy wetlands only accounts for 5%of the total area of wetlands. The sub-healthy wetland area is about 51%,which is half of the total wetland area.Mildly degraded wetlands were about 31%;Moderate degenerated wetlands accounted for about 11%;Severe degradation of wetlands is small, only about 2%.It can be seen that the health of yanbian wetland as a whole is relatively good, and the area of sub-health and mildly degraded wetland accounts for a large proportion.(3)In the whole district of yanbian prefecture,Healthy and sub-healthy wetlands are the most widely distributed inDunhua,Healthy wetland is about 9706.76 hectares.sub-health wetland is about 9706.76 hectares.Healthy and sub-health wetland area is small in Tumen, yanji, longjing, almost is negligible. The wetland area of the mild degraded and moderately degraded grade in dunhua is relatively large in the whole state,The patch area of mildly degraded wetland is about 27756.11 hectares, and that of moderately degraded wetland is about 9761.64 hectares. Most of the seriously degraded wetlands are located in wangqing county, with about 961.31 hectares, followed by antu and hunchun.Tumen’s severely degraded wetlands are the least distributed, almost zero.(4)For the above evaluation results, the author put forward some management countermeasures, including the construction of administrative management institutions, the establishment of scientific decision-making and advisory bodies, the mechanism of capital guarantee, the mechanism of public participation and education, the mechanism of supervision and evaluation, etc. The yanbian wetland functional areas are divided into core protection areas, educational demonstration areas and restoration and reconstruction areas.
