Camellia chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama has been as a kind of Chinese herbal medicine used of heat-clearing and detoxicating,improved hemodynamics and cured sore throat and dysentery.Pharmacodynamics and clinical test showed that the leaves and flowers of Camellia chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama has bioactivities of anti-tumor,anti-cancer and decreasing blood-lipid,reducing cholesterol and so on.Compared to other section of plants,chemieal component of the plant was studied rarely.In this paper,regarded The essential oils from the leaves of Camellia tunghinensis Chang,Camellia nitidissima and Camellia euphlebia and n-butanol extract from the leaves of Camellia tunginensis Chang as object of study,based on previous research to separate and identify more chemical constituents so that we can make better to protect and use of Camellia tunginensis Chang.The essential oils from the leaves of Camellia tunghinensis Chang,Camellia nitidissima and Camellia euphlebia were extracted by steam distillation and analyzed by GC-MS technique.Seventy five components were separated and identified from the leaves of Camellia tunghinensis Chang,fifty six components were separated and identified from the leaves of Camellia nitidissima and fifty five components were separated and identified from the leaves of Camellia euphlebia.Among them,alchol,aldehyde and ketone were the major chemical constituents of those components.Except for Hexadecane,Phytol,Benzaldehyde,T rans,trans-2,4-Heptadienal,Benzeneacetaldehyde,Methy salicylate,Trans-2-Decenal,Trans,trans-2,4-Decadienal,?-Damascenone,a-Ionone,Decanal and Trans-Nerolidol the rest were isolated from the three varieties of Camellia chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama for the first time.Camellia tunginensis Chang,belonging to the genus Camellia section,Theaceae is an endemic species distributed in Fangchenggang city,Guangxi province,China.10 compounds were isolated from n-butanol extract from the leaves of Camellia tunginensis Chang by D101 macroporous absorption resin,Sephadex-LH 20,silica gel column chromatography,ODS,and so on.The structure of compounds were identified by physic-chemical properties,spectral analysis,which,were,Daucosterol(1),GinsenosideRg1(2),5-Hydroxy-methylfurfural(3),Palmtic acid(4),Quercetin(5),Kaempferol-3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(6),Apigenin(7),?-sitosterol(8),Lupeol(9),Oleanolic acid 3-acetate(10).The compound 3,4,6,10 were isolated from the leaves of Camellia tunginensis Chang for the first time.
