?Objective?To establish the sampling and determination method of tributyl phosphate in the air of the workplace,and put forward the suggestion of the occupational contact limit.?Methods?1.In this study,glass fiber filter paper sampling,ether desorption,HP-5 gas chromato-graphy separation,and flame photometric detection were performed to detect airborne tributyl phosphate in the air of the workplace.2.To understand the relationship between occupational exposure of tributyl phosphate and the health of workers,we investigated the occupational hygiene of tributyl phosphate production and use enterprise.Data on production and usage,workers'basic information,occupational history,and physical examinations were collected,and the environmental and individual levels of exposure were monitored using fixed-point and individual sampling.The results of the questionnaire survey and the results of health examination were statistically analyzed by the exact probability method of Fisher in the workers exposed to tributyl phosphate and the control group.?Results?1.The experimental results showed that tributyl phosphate at a concentration of 7.2~720.0?g/mL showed a good linear relationship;the correlation coefficient was 0.999 92,detection limit was 0.86 g/mL,minimum detection concentration was 0.14 mg/m~3(with air sampling volume of 45 L),recovery rate was 99.8~100.2%in the batch,and relative standard deviation was 4.0~5.1%.The relative standard deviation between the groups was 2.0~5.5%,sampling efficiency was 99.1~100%,and desorption efficiency was 97.9~99.5%.Tributyl phosphate was stored at room temperature,and on the tenth day,the decline rate was lower than 10%.2.The survey results showed that tributyl phosphate was widely distributed in the workplace of production and use enterprises,and the concentration of the respiratory belt in packaging workers was highest at 2.47 mg/m~3,and the breathing belt concentration of workers was highest at 2.13 mg/m~3.The discomfort symptoms were classified and results showed that tributyl phosphate exposure group of 136 people,all symptoms of 128 people,accounting for 94.44%of the total,the remaining 5.56%of the staff report had psychiatric symptoms or lethargy and irritability skin itching,the control group had no symptoms.There is or not discomfort symptoms in the tributyl phosphate exposure group and the control group was compared with the exact probability of Fisher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of healthy physical examination of workers exposed to tributyl phosphate and control group were statistically analyzed by the exact probability method of Fisher.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the results of routine internal medical examination,nervous system examination,skin examination,five senses examination,blood routine,urine routine,lung ventilation,and X ray chest fluoroscopy between the tributyl phosphate exposure group and the control group(P>0.05).Health monitoring data showed that the workers exposed to tributyl phosphate were in good health.The occupational health survey found no occupational exposure to tributyl phosphate.?Conclusions?1.The results of this method correspond with the requirements of the GBZ/T 210.4-2008"guidelines for the formulation of occupational health standards:part four:methods for the determination of chemical substances in the air of the workplace",which can accurately determine the levels of airborne tributyl phosphate in the workplace.2.According to the research results,in addition to references from the ACGIH and other national occupation hygiene standards,the workplace permissible 8-hour time-weighted tributyl phosphate and short-term exposure limit concentrations in China were set at 2.5mg/m~3 and 5 mg/m~3,respectively.
