At present,wound tube heat exchangers are widely used in cryogenic units in chemical industry,such as air separation and methanol units.with the in-depth study of wound tube heat exchangers in China,many domestic units have been tackling key problems continuously and have achieved preliminary results in expanding the application field of wound tube heat exchangers.however,due to the different stress state of the wound tube heat exchanger tube plate from the u-shaped tube heat exchanger tube plate and the fixed tube plate,there is still no mature method and standard for calculating the tube plate of this structure at present.In this paper,the tube plate of the wound tube heat exchanger is simplified into an equivalent solid circular plate as a theoretical model.due to the weakening effect of the tube hole on the tube plate,the circular plate is divided into two parts,one is a circular plate area with no tube in the center and the other is a circular plate area with tube in the center.through the deformation coordination equation,the deflection of the tube plate under uniform load is obtained,and the stress intensity calculation formula of the wound tube heat exchanger tube plate is deduced according to the generalized Hooke law.Comparing the calculation results of approximately equivalent u-shaped tube-sheet according to GB151 standard with the calculation results based on elasticity theory,the thickness of tube-sheet calculated based on elasticity theory design is smaller than that calculated based on approximately equivalent u-shaped tube.By comparing the finite element analysis and theoretical calculation,it is concluded that the stress value of tube-sheet designed based on elasticity theory is basically the same as that calculated by finite element method,and the stress distribution law of tube-sheet is also basically the same.Considering the influence of wrapped tube bundle on tube sheet support,a heat exchanger model with wrapped tube bundle was established and analyzed by finite element method under seven different working conditions.The results are compared with the calculated values of a single tube sheet.the calculated results of the tube bundle are different from those of the tube bundle,because the wrapped tube bundle supports the tube sheet.Finally,the model and results in the cited literature verify that the elastic theory is correct.
