Oil seal is one of the most important part in automotive construction. It is widely used in automotive power, transmission, steering, braking and other systems,as well as differentials, shock absorbers, axles, wheels and other parts.Oil seals are relatively complex and widely used rubber components in dynamic sealing components. It is the use of flexible sealing mouth contacting with the shell or shaft,to prevent leakage of lubricant oil in the bearing oil chamber, and to withstand the invasion of foreign substances.Due to the rigidity of rubber can not meet the installation and use requirements,it is necessary to embed a metal framework in the rubber to increase its stiffness.Car oil seal skeleton usually uses cold-rolled steel strip as raw material, and the thickness is controlled within0.8mm~1.5mm,which is generally formed by stamping.Due to the high installation accuracy of the oil seal(concentricity)and its skeleton is a high-precision thin-walled part.In the process of stamping and forming, wrinkling, cracking and other phenomena often occur at different levels. Therefore,it is necessary to theoretically analyze and simulate the stamping process of the car oil seal skeleton,so as to optimize the stamping process parameters and reduce the scrap rate. This thesis has carried on the thorough research to the stamping defect(mainly wrinkle, cracking phenomenon)which often appears in the stamping process of automobile oil seal skeleton. The main research contents and methods are as follows:1)The finite element basic theory of the simulation analysis of stamping process is introduced in detail.Based on the relevant data, the yield model,elasto-plastic constitutive relation, and the commonly used shell element theory, contact algorithm and so on are studied.2)Using ANSYS software to model and solve the sheet and stamping dies of automobile oil seal skeletons, and the effects of theories such as material selection, parameter setting, mesh division, and definition of contact on the accuracy of modeling simulation were studied.3)Using LS-DYNA software to simulate the stamping of automobile oil seal skeleton, and the effects of blank holder force and punch punching speed on the simulation of automobile oil seal frame in the stamping process was studied.Through a lot of simulation analysis,a reasonable blank holder force(3650N)and punch velocity(200mm/s)were determined.4)The stamping die and equipment used for stamping and forming the car oil seal skeleton were determined, and the above simulation was verified byexperiments.
