The non-toxic polypropylene,because without toxicity and wide raw material sources,low price of polypropylene,good performance,easy processing,so it has been widely used in the automotive field,with the continuous research and development in the field of polymer toughening,plastic products in the automotive field gradually replace some metal products,plastic steel,plastic steel as the new industry standard,but because the polypropylene is a semi crystalline solid,low temperature toughness is poor,the impact strength is very low,which greatly limits the application of polypropylene.In this paper,we use the method of blending modification,and study the effect of different kinds of elastomer and filler,as well as the addition of different additives on the toughness of polypropylene.Two kinds of thermoplastic elastomer,respectively,were used for SBS and POE,respectively.The effect of the addition amount of the elastic body and the elastic body on the toughness of polypropylene was tested by means of mechanical blending.Three kinds of inorganic fillers were used to study the effects of different fillers and fillers on the toughness of polypropylene.Effects of two kinds of different additives on the toughness modification of polypropylene by maleic anhydride grafted PP and silane coupling agent were used to investigate the effect of two kinds of additives.The experimental results show that the elastic body POE and SBS can achieve the effect of toughening of polypropylene,but in the same amount of SBS,the POE is superior to that of SBS,and the toughness of POE is better than that of POE.Using talc,diatomite and silica in three kinds of inorganic fillers for modification of polypropylene,the results showed that when the content of silica fume added accounted for 25%of the composite system,the effect of was better.When the content of silica fume was 25%,the reinforcing effect of W was the best.However,when inorganic fillers are chosen as the composite material,the composite material is easy to occur and the agglomeration of the composite material can be reduced,therefore,it is not suitable for the experiment.Inorganic filler talc powder is better than diatomite and silica fume,and the effect of modified material is the best when the content of filler is 25%.Silane coupling agent and maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene as the two additives have the ability to enhance the ability of polypropylene,when the use of silane coupling agent and its quantitative as the base material,the effect of the composite material is more obvious.Optimization of the formula,obtained for automotive interior performance requirements for polypropylene composite material,and preparation for application of automobile door guard system.Detection of its performance has reached the application standard.
