Study On The Purification Of Lapsana Apogonoides’s Active Component

Abstract/Summary:
Lapsana apogonoides is a plant of Compositae,which has the functions of clearing away heat and detoxicating,promoting pharynx and rash,treating dysentery and insect bite.It is a popular traditional Chinese herbal medicine.But at present,the literatures about chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Lapsana apogonoides are almost blank.In this study,the chemical composition,pharmacological action and quality standard of the Lapsana apogonoides were preliminarily studied in order to provide data support for the search for new medicinal plant resources and the development of new drugs.Jiangxi has abundant resources of Lapsana apogonoides,where the natural environment,the climate and soil,is very suitable for the growth of Lapsana apogonoides.The application of modern technology to the study of regional characteristic plant resources is of great significance to the sustainable utilization of medicinal resources,the development and innovation of the scientific and technological products of traditional Chinese medicine,the promotion of rational resources development,the protection of the ecological environment,and the promotion of the coordinated development of the society,economy and ecology of the region.The aerial parts of Lapsana apogonoides were extracted and purified.After 95% ethanol reflux extraction,extraction of petroleum ether and ethyl acetate,removal of chlorophyll by MCI column chromatography,macroporous resin D101 column chromatography,separation by preparation chromatography,separation by thin layer chromatography,detection by HPLC and identification experiments.A substance was purified and separated from HPLC chromatogram,the water samples were identified and compared with the literature and identified as inulin.The mice were administered intragastrically with extracts of Lapsana apogonoides and distilled water was used as a control.The anti-fatigue and anti-anoxia experiments were performed.The results showed that the anti-fatigue extract group showed significant P<0.05 compared with the distilled water group.The difference between the anti-hypoxia extract group P>0.05,and no significant difference against hypoxia.The water content and total ash content of aerial parts and rhizomes were measured.The water content and total ash content in the aerial parts were 10.70% and 17.96%,respectively.The root water content and total ash content were 10.41% and 11.94%,and the water content was Within 7%-13%,which met the quality standards of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.The content of trace elements in the Lapsana apogonoides was determined,it was found that the contents of Ca and Fe were high,the content of the aerial parts was larger than that of the roots,and the content of other elements was relatively low.In this paper,a combination of traditional and modern methods of extraction,separation and purification of Lapsana apogonoides,and the separation of a substance,and combined with pharmacological experiments showed that: the main part of the ground leeks are mainly polysaccharides,which contains inulin which has a certain anti-fatigue effect on mice,and other ingredients and pharmacological efficacy of Lapsana apogonoides are currently being further studied.
