The concept of green chemistry was put forward last century to avoid the increasingly serious environmental problems. As a type of clean materials, room temperature ionic liquids have attracted great attention in many research fields such as catalytic organic synthesis, extraction and separation, and gas absorption.Compared with traditional organic solvents, ionic liquids benefit from the advantages of low volatility, high thermal stability, low vapor pressure, strong solubilities, and designability. As a part of the National Science Foundation of China?21373079?,a series of functionalized ionic liquids were designed and synthesized, and their application in Cu/Ag catalyzed organic reactions were developed. The main research contents and results are as follows:?1?A series of carboxylate ionic liquids with various cation were synthesized.Their utilization in multi-component A3 reactions using Ag salt catalyst was investigated. The influences of the structure and amount of ionic liquids, the type and dosage of Ag salts and the reaction temperature on the reactions were investigated. The results showed that without additional solvents and basic additives,Ag/ionic liquid can promote the target reaction smoothly with wide substrate tolerance.?2?A series of hydroxyl ammonium ionic liquids with different cation were synthesized. The application of this kind of ionic liquids in Cu-catalyzed multi-component conversion of CO2 to2-oxazolidone derivatives was investigated. The influence of the structure and amount of ionic liquids, the amount and type of Cu catalyst on the reaction were investigated.Under the optimized Cu/ionic liquid catalytic system, the multi-component reaction involving CO2 can reacted smoothly under 1 atomosphere pressure, and aromatic aldehydes and aromatic alkynes with electron-withdrawing or electron-donating groups can all achieve desirable separation yields.?3?A series of functional ionic liquids with different cations and anions were synthesized.Their effects on Cu-catalyzed CuAAC reaction between propargylamide and sulfonyl azide were investigated. It was found that the structure of ionic liquids has important influences on the selectivity of the reaction. The ionic liquids with the inorganic anion H2PO4-facilitated the formation of dihydropyrimidinones, while the carboxylate ionic liquids, especially the n-hexanoic salt of N,N-dimethylethanolamine?[DMEOA][Hexanoic]?facilitated the formation of the triazole product. On this basis,we optimized the influencing factors of the reaction system according to the two different products. Both of the types of target compounds can be obtained with excellent isolated without additional solvents and basic additives.
