Along with the rapid development of manufacturing industry in China,the demand for precision and tiny components is increasing.There is also a higher demand for high quality components.Due to their small size,small surface area,complex shapes and difficulty in griping,these components can not be precisely or practically processed using conventional machining methods.In view of this thorny problem,we proposed the use of magnetic abrasive finishing technology to deburring for precision processing.In this paper,vibrating-type permanent magnet mill was designed and manufactured on the basis of the traditional magnetic grinding machine,and experiments and application research were carried.Vibrating-type permanent magnet mill is a new equipment based on the ordinary magnetic grinding machine designed for a small surface polishing.Its innovation is to break the traditional tool processing mode,but the use of vibration motor driven disk to form a rotating magnetic field rotation,which drives a large number of magnetic pins in the container barrel to rotate.The rotating magnetic pins and the tiny workpiece mixed in it produce random and fierce impact and sliding,so as to achieve the effect of polishing the workpiece surface and removing the burr.As the vibrating motor drives the container barrel to vibrate up and down,the magnetic pins is more complicated with respect to the grinding path of the workpiece so that the grinding is more even and the grinding effect is better.This processing method can not only easily realize the polishing of the surface and the fine groove of the tiny complex parts,but also has the advantages of easy operation,easy control and no pollution.In this paper,a car engine nozzle and turbocharger thrust plate with the surface finishing and deburring was taken as the research object.This research work includes the following aspects.Firstly,the research background and significance of the thesis are expounded.The current domestic and international deburring processing methods and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced.A machining method of deburring and surface grinding using a vibrating-type permanent magnet mill is presented,and the working principle of vibrating-type permanent magnet mill and polishing mechanism are analyzed.Secondly,the design scheme of the whole vibrating-type permanent magnet mill is expounded,including the design of container barrel,vibrating motor and wire spring as well as the design of the box body,container barrel support seat and control system.The factors affecting the grinding effect such as vibration,the amplitude of the motor,the size and amount of the magnetic pins,the motor speed,the acidity and basicity of the grinding fluid were studied theoretically and experimentally.Finally,the inner surface of the faucet,the thrust plate of a car turbocharger and the film of military aviation engine blades cooling holes,a military 3D printing screen cover grinding were tested to verify the vibrating-type permanent magnet mill to the tiny deburring parts and surface finishing with good results.This work has a good guiding significance for further promotion of vibrating-type permanent magnet mill in real life.
