The promotion of urbanization level and the rapid development of regional economy lead to the united development of cities and urban clusters.The urban agglomerations is a kind of urban cluster phenomenon surrounding the development of central cities by surrounding cities.The development of urban cluster makes industry,population and economy converge,and brings the increase of carbon emissions.Bring greater environmental problem.Therefore,This paper analyzes the influence of economic agglomeration on the change of land use carbon emission and the change of influencing factors of land carbon emission in the development of urban area,and probes into the path of regional low carbon use under economic agglomeration.It plays an important positive role and practical significance in promoting the rapid and good development of urban agglomerations economy.This paper chooses Wuhan Urban Agglomerations as the research object,which has been developing rapidly in recent years,and studies the change of carbon emission in the Urban agglomerations by using the methods of Herfindahl Index(HHI),geographical concentration,regression analysis and LMDI factorization.Furthermore,some policy suggestions are put forward in favor of the urban development in the urban agglomerations.The contents of the research are as follows:(1)Through the present economic situation analysis,this paper studies the level of economic agglomeration of Wuhan Urban Agglomerations and the change of economic concentration degree of cities.The results show that the economic growth rate of urban agglomerations is relatively fast.The overall economic agglomeration level of the urban agglomerations has increased,and it has different characteristics in different periods.The economic agglomeration degree of the central Urban is relatively large and rising faster,and the economic agglomeration degree of the surrounding cities is relatively small and the change is small.(2)The carbon emission accounting system for urban land use is constructed.Carbon emissions from land use in Wuhan Urban Agglomerations were measured.The characteristics of carbon emission change and the relative difference between urban carbon emissions are analyzed.The analysis of carbon emissions from land use shows that the carbon emission from construction land is the most important carbon source and the main reason for the change of carbon emissions.Urban land use structure has certain influence on carbon emission structure of land use.(3)The analysis of the correlation between the concentration of carbon emissions and the economic concentration of the urban land use in Wuhan Urban Agglomerations shows that,in the same period,there is an inverted U curve relationship between them.With the increase of economic agglomeration,urban land use carbon emission agglomeration increased first and then decreased.The urban agglomerations moved to low carbon emission concentration.(4)The decomposition model of urban land use carbon emission factors is constructed.It includes the effects of construction land expansion effect,wealth effect and technology effect.The study shows that wealth effect and construction land expansion effect generally are positive,technology effect generally is negative.At the same time,the negative effects of technological advances are difficult to achieve a sustained reduction in total carbon emissions.Technology improvement is not enough to reduce carbon emission.Controlling the orderly expansion of construction land is also a important method.(5)Based on the above results,for the overall and individual development of cities,some policy suggestions are put forward from some aspects: reasonable control of urban scale,low carbonization land use policy for industry and technology,and construction of low carbon regulation and control system of urban area land use.
