In this thesis,the inorganic-polymer hybrid materials were prepared by using metal-free photo-induced surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization(SI-ATRP),'click'chemistry or esterification method etc.The adsorption performance of the obtained materials was investigated.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Visible light-induced metal-free SI-ATRP of methyl methacrylate on SBA-15.Surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization(SI-ATRP)is one of the most versatile techniques to modify the surface properties of materials.Recently developed metal-free SI-ATRP makes such techniques more widely applicable.Herein photo-induced metal-free SI-ATRP of methacrylates,such as methyl methacrylate(MMA),N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate(DMAEMA),and N-isopropanyl acrylamide(NIPAM),on the surface of SBA-15 was performed to fabricate inorganic-polymer hybrid materials.A SBA-15-based polymeric composite with adjustable graft ratio was obtained.The structure evolution during the SI-ATRP modification of SBA-15 was monitored and verified by FTIR,XPS,TGA,ASAP,and TEM.The obtained polymeric composite showed enhanced adsorption ability for the model compound toluene in aqueous conditions.This procedure pro-vides a low-cost,readily available,and easy modification method to synthesize polymeric composites without the contamination of metal.(2)Polymer modified graphite oxide(GO)and its adsorption and dispersion peoperties.The polymer grafted GO was fabricated by metal-free photo-induced SI-ATRP,'click'chemistry and esterification method etc.The adsorption properties to basic nitride(quinoline)and dispersion in orgnanic solvent of polymer modified GO were investigated.In this system,poly(tert?butyl acrylate)was used to graft to the surface of GO.A GO-PAA polymeric composite was obtained after hydrolysis.The structure evolution of GO during the modification was monitored by FTIR,TGA,XPS,XRD and SEM.The adsorption results were measured by HPLC.The results showed that GO+PAA possessed enhanced adsorption ability for quinoline in aqueous conditions.The study on dispersions in organic solvent showed that the PMMA modified GO showed better dispersibility than the original GO in PMMA/THF solution.
