In recent years,the haze has been continuously erupted in the large area of China.By replacing coal with electricity(hereafter referred to as RCWE)in the terminal energy consumption,the scattered coal can be converted to a large scale,and then it can improve the fuel efficiency and reduce the pollution material emissions,finally achieve the effect of improvement of terminal energy structure and protection of environment.RCWE is an important way to effectively alleviate air pollution,adjust the energy structure,and fundamentally solve the constraints of economic and social sustainable development of climate change,energy environment and other issues.Therefore,how to speed up industrial development,enhance industrial competitiveness effectively and realize the dominance of RCWE in China's terminal energy consumption field is a key issue worthy of further study and discussion.In order to solve this problem,on the basis of the existing literature and research,this paper puts forward the necessity and significance of the research on RCWE in China,with diamond model being adopted for research.From the factors,such as production,the market demand status,related and supportive industries,industrial strategic organization and competitive status,government influence and opportunities,a comprehensive analysis is used for the measurement of competitiveness of RCWE.Then the key elements have been screened out to build the industrial competitiveness evaluation index system.The method of entropy-level analysis has been used to evaluate the competitiveness of RCWE quantitatively in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei Provinces.Based on the results of evaluation and analysis,combined with the actual situation of China's RCWE industry,the gear model is favored for the construction of competitiveness upgrading path of RCWE.The result shows that the potential and the market promotion of RCWE is huge in China The strength of science and technology and core competitiveness are increasing year by year.However,the market demand structure,the level of power grid intelligence,the competitiveness of industrial electricity price,the government support,the traditional rely on the fossil energy and other aspects still need to be improved.Among them,the market demand,government influence and industrial strategic organization and competition status are the key factors that affect the improvement of industrial competitiveness.In the scale of factors of production,the key to enhance the industrial competitiveness lies in technological innovation.The industrial development path should gradually transition from regulating technical standards to building an energy science and technology innovation system.At the market demand level,it is necessary to eliminate backward production capacity and promote clean energy in rural areas,which is the turning point of structural demand adjustment.The relevant and supportive industries provide effective support for the development of RCWE industry.Deepening the reform of power system,promoting the smart grid technology and establishing a professional collaborative process are important tasks for the industry from initial stage to development and then to mature stages.The strategic organization and industry competition status of RCWE needs to be improved.Through the application of innovative business models,the implementation of pilot reform of electricity tariffs,the continuous improvement of power marketing strategies,a healthy competition structure of industries will be gradually formed.In addition,the government's overall planning,financial support,supervision and guidance,the environmental benefits of the industry are also indispensable part of upgrading the competitiveness of the RCWE industry.The research of these development paths will surely play an important guiding significance in the improvement of RCWE industry.
