Since China's State Council introduced the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Air Pollution in 2013,Beijing's air quality has significantly improved.However,the concentration of particulates still greatly went beyond the national second-level standards,indicating severe pollution of atmospheric particulate matter.Owing to its carcinogenicity,teratogenicity and mutagenicity,polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and halogenated flame retardants in atmospheric particulates do more harm to the human health,thus research works on the concentration of which in atmospheric particulates become a hotspot.In this study,a quick and reliable method was established,and 31 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),27 nitro polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs),7 polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs),11 polybrominated biphenyl ethers(PBDEs),4 dechloranes,and 3 hexabromocyclododecane isomers(HBCDs)in atmospheric particulate matters were determined by GC-MS or LC-MS/MS simultaneously after a short procedure utilizing ASE and SPE for pre-treatment.All target compounds showed a good linearity at the concentrations of authentic environmental samples and the spiked recovery rate of particulate matter sample was between 90.0%and 121.3%with relative standard deviation less than 6.0%.Particulate samples were collected from 2015 to 2017 near the north third ring road in the city of Beijing,and were analyzed by the method mentioned above.Besides,the source apportionment was also investigated and it turned out that PAH was the primary organic pollutants(55.92 ng·m-3),higher than NPAH(8.30 ng·m-3),PCB(0.087 ng·m-3),PBDE(0.094 ng·m-3),Dechloranes(0.017 ng·m-3)as well as HBCD(0.389 ng·m-3).Characteristics of compounds model and PMF model results show that the source of particulate matters near the peace dongqiao regional was traffic and coal burning pollution.This study could reveal the mechanism and source of particulate matters as well,contributing to additional emission reduction and haze control projects.
