Development Of Ash Monitoring Device For Flotation Tailings

Slime flotation is the most effective coal preparation process for sorting and recovering grain size coal below 0.5mm.Flotation effect directly affect the quality and recovery of clean coal and the whole factory economic and technical indicators.At present,the way to judge the effect of flotation on site mainly depends on the operator's experience,such as observing the state of foam layer and tailing color to adjust the dosing amount,but it is difficult to achieve and maintain because subjective differences and deviations in human judgment flotation process the best condition.Tailings ash as an important feedback information is the basis for regulating the dosage,but also an essential parameter to realize the automatic control of the flotation process.The purpose of this paper is to develop a low-cost on-line detection device for flotation tailings based on image processing.The device firstly ingests the original image of slime flotation tailings through an industrial camera.Then it reduces the noise through the linear weighted mean filter,and then removes the illumination effect through the linear gray space mapping.Finally,from the perspective of probability and statistics,characteristics of gray value matrix pretreatment feature extraction,based on the nonlinear regression,a flotation tailings ash estimation method,and then use the least squares method for non-linear regression analysis,through a large number of real-time tailings ash data and the original Image data analysis of the original image gray value and tailings ash correspondence,in order to achieve the image gray value into tailings ash value.Flotation tailings ash testing device in Kailuan(Group)Co.,Ltd.Fangezhuang Coal Preparation Plant results show that the detection device has good detection,adaptability,rapid and accurate data analysis and other characteristics of coal washing plant ash Testing provides a new way to reduce the workload of inspectors.
