Chirality,significance and methods of chiral separation,chiral stationary phases and optical resolution in high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),preparation of chiral stationary phase via interfacial polymerization were introduced.The main works of this paper are summarized as follows:Using teicoplanin and vancomycin as chiral selectors,4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate(MDI)as crosslinking monomer,silica gel serve as support,two chiral stationary phases teicoplanin-MDI and vancomycin-MDI were prepared by interfacial polymerization for HPLC chiral separations.The experimental results showed that the vancomycin-MDI chiral column exhibited excellent separation ability towards eighteen racemic compounds.In addition,the effect of chromatographic conditions on the separation performance of vancomycin-MDI chiral column was discussed,and the reproducibility and stability of the column was also investigated.The teicoplanin-MDI chiral column performed a good separation ability for ten racemic compounds.Two chiral stationary phase teicoplanin-HDI and vancomycin-HDI were prepared using silica gel serve as support,teicoplanin and vancomycin as chiral recognition reagent,and the 1,6-diisocyaate(HDI)as crosslinking monomer by interfacial polymerization for HPLC chiral separations.On which 14 and 10 of the racemates were separated,respectively.Using teicoplanin and vancomycin as chiral selectors,2,4-toluene diisocyanate(TDI)as crosslinking monomer,silica gel as support to prepare teicoplanin-TDI and vancomycin-TDI by interfacial polymerization for HPLC enantioseparations.Some enantiomers were separated on the two chiral stationary phases in HPLC.
