Dual motor synchronous drive control technology is the key technology for high precision operation of machine tool feed system,and it is also the key problem of multi motor cooperative movement.Dual motor synchronous drive can greatly improve the stiffness of the feed system and reduce the processing vibration,thus improving the overall processing accuracy of the machine tool.However,in the driving process of dual motor,due to nonlinear and coupling interference between two axis,the system is difficult to obtain high accuracy synchronization.Therefore,it is necessary to study the dual motor synchronous drive control strategy and algorithm.Dual drive synchronous control technique,which is based on the virtual electronic spindle,is one of the most commonly used control strategies in the dual motor drive control system.This paper combines virtual electronic spindle synchronous control method with fuzzy adaptive PID control to design and research double motor synchronous drive control system.Firstly,the multi motor synchronization control technology,synchronization control strategy,especially the advantages and disadvantages of virtual spindle synchronous control technology of the application at home and abroad are researched.The theory and application background of traditional PID,fuzzy adaptive PID,neural network,fuzzy control and sliding mode variable structure are analyzed and compared based on the design of synchronous controller.Secondly,the overall scheme of the dual motor synchronization drive system is designed.Based on the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor,this paper puts forward the strategy of dual motor synchronous drive,and designs the synchronous control scheme of dual motor based on virtual electronic spindle.Then,fuzzy PID controller with parameter self-tuning is constructed based on the basic principle of PID algorithm.The synchronous control strategy of dual motor based on virtual electronic spindle using fuzzy adaptive PID is established.By Matlab /Simulink simulation,the performance and anti-interference ability between the proposed control scheme,master-slave synchronization and virtual electronic spindle to the conventional PID control synchronization are compared and the parameters of the controller are optimized.Finally,the dual motor synchronous control system based on virtual electronic spindle using Fuzzy adaptive PID control is designed and build on BECHOFF motive control system.For the requirement of the control system,synchronous control system specific hardware is selected and control system software is designed.The dual motor drive system synchronization control experiment is completed,the results of simulation are compared and analyzed,the feasibly of the proposed synchronization control scheme is validated,and the control scheme and parameters are further optimized.
