Research And Design Practice In Modeling Of Maternity Clothes

With the changing times,the emergence of maternity clothes is inevitable.People continue to pursue the pursuit of maternity clothes,prompting designers continue to find new design concepts and methods.The starting point of this paper is the costume modeling design.First of all,I studied the impact on the shape of the maternity clothes from the physical,psychological and functional;Secondly,I explored and studied the contemporary maternity clothes design,and concluded six kinds of maternity clothes modeling design techniques commonly used which are the tie and fix method,adjust the stretching method,cut the amount method,the elastic stretch method,overlap the hidden method and splice removal method.Based on this theory,I put forward the domestic maternity clothes modeling design existing problems which are short service life,the overall shape of convergence rate and lack of detail according to the author's actual findings.Therefore,in response to the above problems,the author boldly put forward the design concept of "sustainable maternity clothes",with the core purpose of increasing the service time of maternity clothes,and solve the problems of the current maternity clothes from three aspects which are outline modeling,internal structure modeling and partial modeling problems.This promote,updating and developing the concept of maternity clothes modeling design and methods,fulfill the responsibility of fashion designers to promote the virtuous circle of the industry.And then solved the physiological and psychological discomfort problem of pregnant woman during pregnancy,creating perfect memories of their pregnancy.The main research significance of this topic is: First,to break the conventional of maternity clothes in the market,to reshape the pregnant woman's multiple possibilities of the body curve,to provide a new design for the maternity clothes of our country as much as possible.Second,to break the inherent inertia of thinking,stimulate a variety of ways of thinking,enrich the design of maternity clothes.Third,maximize the functional benefits of products,extend their timeliness and service time,and propose the new design concept of maternity clothes sustainability from the perspective of economic applicability and environmental friendly.
