Spinning is one of the important processes in spinning,its quality directly affect subsequent product.In the spinning machine suction cleaning system,The suction tute provides steady suction flow for working area under the negative pressure power provided by the high-pressure fan.Due to negative pressure loss caused by long distance air duct,There is a problem of negative pressure reduction at the end,which decrease suction performance,dirt can not be cleared in time.The difference of cleaning performance has an effect on the consistency of yarn quality.The structure of suction tube determine its internal airflow field characteristics.Therefore,on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics of flow field,this paper find out the area of the air flow block and propose an scheme to improve the suction performance under the same negative pressure,reducing the performance gap between beginning and end,improving quality consistency.The reference for the subsequent modification is provided.Based on theory of hydrodynamics,using the finite element method to simulate air flow field in suction tube,this paper put forward the evaluation parameters of transmission efficiency,reveal the air transmission characteristics.Based on the current situation,the structure optimization scheme is proposed and analysis.In order to obtain the optimum angle parameters,the comparison experiment before and after improvement was carried out.The main results as follows:(1)The analysis of air transportation in suction tube.Based on hydrodynamics,taking suction tube as research object,using standard ??-model,the flow field and turbulence core region are simulated by FLUENT,and airflow block zone is found.This paper proposes that the x-direction component velocity is the assessment parameter to study air movement characteristics,and obtain the x-direction velocity under different working conditions.(2)Structural optimization scheme is proposed and compared with numerical simulation.Because the airflow strikes the rear wall vertically,the x-direction movement airflow mainly concentrate on the rear wall area,and thus generate the airflow block zone.Two targeted structural improvements have been proposed to incline air flow.In the improved scheme,the velocity of the x-direction is significantly increased,the block zone area is significantly reduced.The results show that increasing the diversion hole at a certain inclination can help increase the suction volume.(3)According to the existing experimental conditions,the method for testing the suction performance is proposed.The cleaning experiments on cotton were carried out by using prototype and suction tube with 22°,24°,26°,28°,30°diversion holes.
