By studying the starch graft copolymer as a water treatment agent for cowboy wastewater, the operating costs of the cowboy manufacturer are reduced, and the environmental pollution caused by waste water discharge is reduced or eliminated. The traditional method for starch graft copolymers is wet preparation, and the reaction is catalyzed by chemical agents. This method is not suitable for industrial production and has no practical value.Looking for a manufacturing process that can be mass-produced is an urgent problem to be solved.By studying the changes of starch properties and structure after irradiation, the influence of irradiation dose on the graft copolymerization reaction was judged;the process of starch graft copolymer production was optimized by calculating the parameters such as grafting rate, and the starch was evaluated by flocculation experiment.Graft copolymers Actual results. In this paper, the pre-irradiation method is used. The starch is first pretreated with ionizing radiation to produce a certain amount of free radicals in the starch. Then the acrylamide and the starch are uniformly mixed, and the initial energy is provided by microwave heating so that the graft copolymerization reaction continues. The starch grafted acrylamide copolymer was finally obtained. After separating and purifying, the reacted product is separated to remove unreacted starch and acrylamide, and the homopolymer is removed. The pure graft copolymer obtained is subjected to infrared spectrum test.According to the result of separation and purification, the formula is used to calculate the Branches of the various parameters of the copolymer. The preparation method is simple and rapid, and can be applied to industrial mass production, and has practical value. The experimental results show that the molecular weight of irradiated starch decreases gradually with irradiation dose, and the free radical content gradually increases. The content of branched chain first decreases and then increases, and the content of straight chain increases first and then decreases.According to the results of infrared spectroscopy,it was proved that the acrylamide monomer was grafted onto the starch molecular chain.Through the grafting rate, grafting efficiency and monomer conversion rate to determine the best process conditions:starch and acrylamide mass ratio of 1:1.5,microwave power is 40%full power, heating time is 50S,this When the graft rate reached 48.3%,the grafting efficiency reached 50.71%.The starch graft copolymer was used to test the denim sewage treatment. The results showed that the flocculation effect was similar to polyacrylamide when the input amount was appropriate. The water treatment effect was very good, but the disadvantage was that the flocculation time was longer.Generally speaking, using this method to produce grafted starch as flocculant is simple and can be industrialized. In the subsequent improvement process,a certain amount of cations can be grafted to improve its flocculation speed.
