With the advent of Industry 4.0,the exploitation of oil and gas resources has turned from the land to the deep sea.Therefore,deep sea oil and gas exploration equipment with high reliability and sealing performance has become an indispensable equipment for deep sea oil and gas production.Its harsh environment will make the connector of the Lens gasket sealing ring failure leads to leakage of oil and gas resources and endangers the safety of the entire underwater production system.In this paper,according to the sealing performance characteristics of the sleeve connector,the surface contact characteristics of the seal ring under the pre-tightening working conditions and production conditions are thoroughly studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)By analyzing and summarizing the installation principle,work flow,production process and sealing method of the socket connector,an overall design scheme of the socket connector system and the structural design method of key components are proposed.A sealing structure that uses the drive ring to drive the pawl to rotate to press the HUB into engagement with the lens pad is used as a key sealing method for the sleeve connector.The axial displacement of the drive ring is used to drive the radial movement of the pawl to compress the seal.The ring is used to achieve pre-tightening of the connector,and the connector has a certain self-locking function.(2)By establishing the theoretical mechanical model of the vertical socket connector,the mechanical relationship between the drive ring,lens pad and other key components was analyzed,and the preload and load required for the normal operation of the socket connector were obtained.The formula is calculated to derive the formula for the relationship between the connector drive load and the seal ring surface contact stress.And derived the mechanical benefits of the seal structure formula.(3)Based on ABAQUS,the FEA contact characteristics of the key components of the socket connector were analyzed,and the changing process and law between the surface contact stress and deformation of each component were obtained.At the same time,the relationship between the surface contact stress,the surface contact width,and the compression deformation of the seal ring between the HUB and the lens pad in the preloaded state and the production state of the connector was studied,and thepreloaded driving displacement was preliminarily obtained as The surface contact stress of the seal ring is the largest at 30 mm,and the sealing effect is the best.(4)Based on the principle of heat transfer,a steady-state and transient thermal-structure coupling analysis is performed on the connector to calculate the influence of temperature on the contact characteristics of the seal,including the relationship between contact stress,seal contact width,and compressive deformation.To analyze the effect of thermal stress on the sealing characteristics.
