With the rapid development of China's oil industry.Now oil production is facing a deeper and more complex underground environment,so there is a greater for packer.Permanent packers do not need to consider unsealing when they work,so they can bear greater sealing and working loads from structure,so it is more suitable for deep well operation.In this paper,the sealing performance of permanent packer has been deeply analyzed in theory and simulation.Its main research contents are as follows:(1)The sitting process of compression packer is divided into three stages of free deformation,unidirectional constraint deformation and bidirectional constraint deformation,and the mechanical formulation of each stage is established by elastic mechanics,and the contact pressure of each stage is solved by MATLAB.(2)The uniaxial tensile test was carried out on the rubber and metal materials used in the permanent packer,and the constitutive models were fitted by the experimental data.Finally,the two order complete integral model and the three order Ogden model was respectively used as the constitutive equation of SP-70 and SP-90,and the parameters in the constitutive model were calculated respectively.(3)The axisymmetric model of the retrievable packer and permanent packer were established,and the sitting process was simulated by ABAQUS.Based on the FEA results of the permanent packer,the mathematical model describing the sealing process in three stages is verified.(4)The influence of the casing diameter,the height of the middle rubber,the friction factor and the anti-outburst device on the contact pressure,the contact area and the axial compression distance in the sitting process of the permanent packer are analyzed by FEA,and provide an important reference for the design of the permanent packer.Using the obtained mathematical model can quickly and easily get the contact pressure curve,which can provide theoretical guidance for the sealing structure design,optimization and improvement of this paper can also be a reference for the other structure of sealing.It has the practical engineering significance.
