As a typical energy-intensive industry,the construction industry is characterized by its high energy consumption,high emission,and low efficiency.Currently,research on the influencing factors of carbon emissions and the realization of energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction industry have become the focus of domestic experts and scholars.However,the current research on the factors influencing the carbon emissions from the construction industry is still not deep enough.The research perspective is relatively simple and there is no theoretical and empirical research on the indirect factors of carbon emissions.Therefore,this article based on the relevant theoretical basis,from a new perspective,to clarify the direct and indirect factors affecting the carbon emission intensity of China's construction industry,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of low-carbon development strategies for the construction industry.The innovative research results of this article are summarized as follows:(1)This paper has constructed a complete theoretical framework for analysis of carbon intensity impact factors: Using the literature review and deductive reasoning method,the direct and indirect influencing factors of carbon emission intensity in China's construction industry were identified and defined,and the theoretical framework was constructed.(2)The direct influencing factors were decomposed: Empirical analysis was made on the direct influencing factors of carbon emission intensity in China's construction industry based on statistical average yearbook data using logarithmic mean decomposition method(LMDI),which verified the energy structure,energy intensity,and indirect carbon emission intensity.The direct effect of the effect on the change in carbon intensity,including the effect of energy structure and energy intensity on the change of carbon emission intensity,inhibits the change of carbon emission intensity,and promotes the change of carbon emission intensity,and the indirect carbon emission intensity effect has a major role in carbon intensity;(3)The impact paths of various indirect influence factors are combed: Using the questionnaire data to build the variance based partial least squares(PLS)structural equation model to comb the influence path of the indirect influence factors of carbon emission intensity,and draw the conclusion that the low carbon technology innovation in the construction industry can promote the reduction of carbon emission intensity.The promotion of low carbon technology innovation water level needs government,market,technology.The factor of science and technology has a direct impact on the low carbon technology innovation of the construction industry.The government,the market and the public opinion elements have an indirect positive effect on the low carbon technology innovation of the construction industry through the internal elements of the enterprise,and the internal elements of the enterprise directly influence the low carbon technology innovation.With significant use,it has the greatest impact on low carbon technology innovation.(4)A more complete emission reduction strategy was proposed: Based on the empirical analysis results of direct and indirect factors,a strategy for improving energy efficiency,optimizing energy structure,and adjusting the use of building materials was proposed from the direct level,and the government and market were separately proposed from the indirect level,science and technology,public opinions,and strategies for energy-saving and emission reduction mechanisms at the internal level of the company,with a view to promoting China's construction industry to achieve low-carbon development as soon as possible.
