Proton exchange membrane fuel cell?PEMFCs?,is considered to be the most appropriate in the future electric vehicle power source,attracted the government,universities around the world,is a great importance to the enterprise.However,hinder the commercialization of fuel cell barriers still exist,such as cost and durability problems,the two problems are concentrated on the catalyst.So,continue to look for new low platinum loading and high durability of the catalyst is still difficult.The main research content of this paper is the preparation of Pt-Ni/C catalyst,the expansion of production and its application in a single cell.First of all,through the CV,LSV tecnology to explore characterization of electrochemical performance and TEM,XRD,ICP and other physical morphology component characterization,effect of different preparation conditions on the structure and electrochemical properties.The results show that when the reaction temperature is130?,the atomic ratio of Pt and Ni is 1:1,Ni metal precursor for nickel nitrate the preparation of a uniform dispersion of Pt-Ni/C alloy catalyst,small particle size and narrow size distribution and has the best electrochemical performance.Then through the accelerated durability test?ADT?compared to the homemade Pt-Ni/C and commercial Pt/C?JM?catalyst durability in half cell.The results showed that the self-made Pt-Ni/C catalyst durability is higher than that of commercial Pt/C?JM?catalyst.Finally,the self-made Pt-Ni/C catalysts were single cell tests,the effects of different operating conditions on the cell performance.Through the analysis of different polarization curve data,determine the MEA test conditions for operating temperature is 80 degrees centigrade,the intake pressure of 1.2 bar,H-air Stoich is1.7:3,bilateral RH=80%intake air humidity,the best cell performance when the current density,unit voltage reached 0.641 V,the ultimate power density reached 894mW cm-2.In summary,self-made PtNi/C catalyst not only in half cell test showed electrocatalytic activity and excellent durability,and performance in the single cell test as well.It can effectively improve the utilization efficiency of Pt metal,reducing the cost.It has important significance to promote the process of commercialization of fuel cell.
