The fully mechanized coal face environment is very complex,because of the geological conditions of working face are complex and changeable during the cutting process.When the shearer cutting different coal medium,the cutting load of the shearer cutting section is alternating load.To avoid overloading and others damage of the motor caused by the over-rock partings or gangue,torque shaft is usually used to protect the cutting motor and main drive system.However,in the process of actual use,the torque shaft often was not broken under the overload conditions or it was broken under the normal working conditions,which can not play a protective role.It directly affects normal production.Therefore,the torque shaft of shearer must be optimized to ensure safe and reliable operation of shearer.The torque shaft of MG900/2210-GWD shearer cutting section was taken as the object of study.The physical model of the shearer torque shaft was established with three different groove types of I,V and U under the three-dimensional modeling software.The static model of three kinds of shearer torque shafts was established with statics finite element analysis method.The stress and strain nephogram under the same conditions is obtained by simulation analysis.After the modal dynamics of the U groove was analyzed and the model was established,the vibration frequency and the nephogram of each stage were obtained.Finally,the results of dynamics and statics simulation was analyzed and know that mechanical properties of U groove is the best in the three grooves.According to the simulation results and theoretical calculation verification,a optimization design scheme for the groove type and size of the torque shaft was developed.The test and application results show that the optimal design scheme of torque shaft is developed,which not only can ensure normal power transmission,but also can be broken in time with the cutting motor overload.It ensures the safe and reliable operation of shearer.time with the cutting motor overload.It ensures the safe and reliable operation of shearer.
