In recent years,with the wide application of electric vehicle and power battery energy storage equipment,power battery and its application technology have been developing rapidly,especially the development of power battery's intrinsically safe,power battery management and fast charging technology.Therefore,the application of power battery is more and more safe,reliable,efficient and convenient,and its potential in the application of coal mine is becoming more and more concerned.The refuge chamber and the escape system,the mine track traction motor vehicle,the rubber wheel motor vehicle and the monorail crane mainly rely on the traditional lead-acid battery to provide energy.The traditional lead acid battery management system will greatly improve the existing lead-acid battery working efficiency,poor reliability,high scrap rate,and complicated maintenance and so on.In addition,the research shows that the application of lithium iron phosphate battery and its management system on the coal mine equipment can also overcome the disadvantages of low energy density,heavy pollution and large land occupation,which have obvious advantages and great potential.It is the key research and development direction of the future coal mine power battery.At present,there are two problems in the mine power battery and its application:first,the selection of the power battery for mine.There are many kinds of power batteries in the market,and the quality of manufacturing is uneven.Some battery manufacturers fail to guarantee the consistency with batches of power batteries.Second,the development of power battery management system.The power battery management system on the market is very diverse and often does not develop a management system for the characteristics of a battery and its application,especially in the coal mine.Therefore,there are often problems such as the mismatch between the management system and the battery characteristics.The key technology of the power battery of coal mine is to find a suitable for the coal mine power battery,and provides a management system for it,protect the battery safety,reliable and efficient operation,further enhance the coal mine equipment technology,reduce the cost and risk of coal mine safety production.First,find a power battery for coal mine applications.Through the research andanalysis of the existing power battery performance,we choose lithium iron phosphate power battery as the research object.The working principle and charge discharge characteristics are studied,summarize the factors that affect the SOC estimation and determine the amount of monitoring and management needed for battery management system,so as to provide direction and basis for modeling and management of power battery.Secondly,the modeling and analysis of the power battery are carried out.Based on the characteristics of the power cell and the model of the power battery,a model suitable for the lithium iron phosphate battery was found.MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation are used to verify the accuracy of the dynamic battery model by comparing with the actual experimental data.Finally,the power battery management system is designed.According to the characteristics of power battery and related standards,combined with the actual coal mine environment,the basic functions of the management of mine power battery are established.The precise monitoring of the voltage of the single cell battery,the accurate estimation of the SOC of the power cell,the balanced management of the power battery and the safety protection of the power battery are studied in detail.The research shows that the mine power battery and its management system can basically achieve the purpose of design.Further research and repeated experiments are still needed if the coal mine is applied in the coal mine.
