The application of stamping line has greatly improved the production efficiency and reduced the number of personnel in the production line.At the same time,the requirements of the stamping line multi-station die significantly improved.It making the designer not only to ensure the quality of the die structure,but also no collision between moving parts.The occurrence of collision interference can result in the increase of die commissioning time and the delay of die delivery,even damage the die or the equipment of automatic stamping line.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the motion simulation and interference checking of automatic stamping line,which is of great significance to improve the design quality of automatic stamping line,shorten the development cycle and reduce the cost.According to the needs of Shanghai Volkswagen Co.Ltd,this paper analyzed the characteristics of the professional simulation software of the stamping die and the simulation module of CAD software and developed the RP-DMU system.Through the classification of die components,a rapid template-defined method was put forward,which could free the designer from the complicated sub-definition of the motion subassembly and realize a rapid definition of moving parts.The system could achieve the free removal,addition and re-edit of moving parts and create the movement system according to the type of the part,allowing the designer to reduce the number of cumbersome operations.Aiming at the problems of a large amount of data,the low efficiency of common storage methods,the lack of data security and relevance,this paper constructed a project for data storage based on CATIA custom feature.It made full use of the characteristics of CATIA custom feature by embed the template data hierarchically to solve the problem of the association update between templated data and realize the efficient storage of the data.This paper studied the movement of important parts of multi-station die,and put forward the scheme of series single-stage motion pair and the simulation method of motion curve driving.The complex motion was decomposed,and the motion system is constructed by using the motion curve to drive the corresponding motion pair to realize the simulation movement.According to the basic motion curve,including the movement curve of the press,the clamp feed movement curve,the corresponding driving curve was solved,and all the components were coordinated and simulated to realize the real end effective motion simulation.At the end of this paper,a typical automatic stamping line multi-station die and clamp feed mechanism was taken as an example,and the motion simulation and interference check are realized by the system,which verifies the effectiveness of the system.At the same time,the system is compared with CATIA simulation module and professional stamping die motion simulation software,which verifies the efficiency of the system.
