The technical level and innovative ability of aviation manufacturing industry reflect the strength of our manufacturing industry and the modernization level of national defense industry.To improve the automated manufacturing level of modern aircraft,the transformation of aircraft component holes from traditional manual drilling to automatic drilling is an inevitable trend.According to the characteristics of a certain type of airfoil drilling technology,a special off-line programming and simulation system is developed.The research results are as follows.(1)Structural analysis method is used to analyze the demand of the system.According to the analysis results,functional modules of the system are designed.The system is divided into three modules:pre-processing module,path simulation module and post-processing module.(2)A region-first ant colony algorithm with global direction is proposed.The algorithm adds the concept of block recognition to the target selection step of ant colony algorithm according to the requirement of hole-making area partition.Besides,according to the principle of direction planning,the direction resistance is added to the selection of target points,and the direction evaluation function is added to the pheromone calculation.At last,the planning results are given by combining calculation examples with engineering examples.(3)A method of automatically creating simulation environment based on field calibration configuration file is proposed,which guarantees the consistency of virtual-real environment and improves the accuracy of simulation.Combining with kinematics analysis of machine tools,program-driven mechanical devices are used in the DMU motion module of CATIA to carry out motion simulation,and collision detection and over-limit inspection are realized.On this basis,collision detection and over-limit detection are realized.(4)Combined with path planning algorithm and motion simulation method,CATIA is redeveloped using V5 Automation technology.An off-line programming and simulation system for airfoil drilling is developed.The NC program is output for the use of airfoil drilling machine tools through the key steps of automatically reading information from process digital model,process classification,path planning,motion simulation and revision planning.
