With the increasing demand for denim clothing,the development of summer denim fabric with both moisture absorption and elasticity has become a trend and hot spot in research and enterprise.Based on the new knitted-woven composite technology,we used indigo dyed cotton yarn as warp,and used polyamide core yarn with good elasticity as weft,and coolmax damp with perspiration yarn as knitting yarn.The moisture absorption rate,drip diffusion time,core suction height,moisture evaporation rate,moisture permeability,elasticity relaxation,load tension and permeability of the composite fabric were tested in the experiment.The effects of the microstructure,weft density and knitting coil length on moisture absorption and elasticity of the composite fabric were analyzed.Then,the paper tested the drip diffusion time,core absorption height,moisture permeability,elasticity relaxation and air permeability of the fabric after washing,and observed the surface structure of the fabric by SEM.The results show that when the other structural parameters are constant,the longer the wearer,the higher the absorbency,the higher the core absorbency and the moisture permeability,the shorter the drip diffusion time and the faster the evaporation rate,the better the moisture absorbency,moisture conductivity and dehumidification performance.At the same time,the elasticity of the knitted composite fabric is slightly lower than that of the common woven fabric,and under the same conditions,the elastic properties of the knitted composite fabric are better if the fabric is less relaxed and the constant load elongates longer.The higher the air permeability,the better the air permeability of the knitted fabric.After chlorination and oxygen rinsing,the knitting composite denim fabric contracted slightly,the compactness increased slightly,the drip diffusion time did not change,the core suction height and moisture permeability decreased slightly,the elastic relaxation increased,the permeability decreased,the elasticity and permeability decreased to some extent.This paper provides theoretical basis and design reference for the development of wet absorbent fast dry elastic denim fabric.
