The leisure, sport and outdoor exercise are becoming increasingly popular with people nowadays; more and more people come into sport. Sport-wear is worn during the sports time. Since there is much sweat created during these times, it is very important to transfer sweat to the outside of garment quickly and to keep the body dry. Therefore it is essential to study and development the knitted fabrics with the properties of moisture transferable and fast drying, as well as Anti-ultraviolet ray and anti-statics.By consulting the massive related literature of domestic and overseas, this study summed up the types, structures and characteristics of the fiber which can be used to development sport-wear. Based on the theoretical study of the heat and wet comfort of the fabric, it chose different kinds of new textile materials—which cross section just like the"Y","+"and"C-O", combine with the scientific fabric constructions and advanced finishing technology, then it designed"G"and"L"two series, twenty-two kinds of sport-wear fabric which can used in different condition. Then it tested the properties of the fabrics separately, and analysis all the factors which can influence fabric's moisture-transfer and fast drying properties.The main contents of this article are as follows: (1) With the help of TEM and the digital image analysis techniques it counted the degree of the fiber's profile, then through a great deal of experiment, it drew the conclusion that the more abnormal of the fiber's profile, the better of the water-transmit ability and the drying ability. (2) With the help of the single and double cylinder knitting machine, it knitted twenty-two kinds of sport-wear fabric. With the Talking about the point contact and the differential capillary affect of fabrics, it mainly studied the definite direction water-transmit property of the fabric when the average fiber radius is different. As a conclusion, it found out that the more different of the average fiber radius, the better definite direction water-transmit property of the fabric. (3)By a great deal of experiment, it studied the influence that the alkali pretreatment to the dyeing properties to the abnormal shape fiber fabric. It can obviously improved the fabric's water-transmit property and dyeing properties by employing alkali pretreatment to the fabric before dyeing process. (4)With the help of experiment, it studied the dyeing processes of the fabric. It founded that the color depth of the abnormal shape fiber fabric looks like the same when the dyeing temperature is 120℃or 130℃, so 120℃is OK, it can reduce not only energy bur also resources. (5)To all the developed fabrics, it from the fundamental properties, the moving comfortable properties and the hot-wet comfortable properties three aspects to do the test , and then chose the best one, which is a French rib construction, and made by three different filaments: the 8.3 tex/72F "+" shapes filament as inner layer , the 8.3 tex/ 100 F "C-O" shapes filament as outer layer, and the 8.3 tex/ 144F thinner filament in the centre links up of them. This fabric is better than the NIKE moisture-transfer and fast drying sport-sweat.This study has certain guiding significance and draw value to the home and abroad both on the theory and practice.
