The formed shoe upper made on computerized flat knitting machine has many advantages,such as good integrity,lightweight,wear resistance,breath-ability and moisture permeability,beautiful appearance,comfortable wearing and saving raw material.Therefore,it is highly sought after by producers and customers.Many enterprises and universities have studied the knitting technology of the shoe and made great progress.At present,most of the formed shoe upper is the fully fashioned flat shoe upper.There are still few studies on the one-step forming of shoe upper and sole,namely the fully fashioned three-dimensional shoe upper fabric.Therefore,the fully-shaped technology of the three-dimensional shoe upper is still to be studied.The main contents of the paper are as follows.Firstly,based on learning more about the structure and physiological characteristics of the human foot,the design idea and principle of fully fashioned vamps of sport shoes were analyzed comprehensively,the common stitches of the upper fabric were summarized,and then fully formed sports shoe uppers were independently designed and developed,including collecting human feet data,making shoe tree,and changing the three-dimensional upper to plane from.In accordance with the corresponding stitch densities,the plane models for the upper were transformed into the needle number and the row number during the knitting process.In the process of transformation,the characteristics of the edge curve of plane model for the shoe upper were analyzed in detail,and the corresponding narrowing and widening technology were then reasonably designed.After completing pattern making of formed upper byusing LONG-XING software system,the shaped shoe upper was made on the computerized flat knitting machine,and the problems in the knitting process were summarized.Secondly,a shaped slipper model was designed by the principle of fully formed,the basic stitches,jacquard stitches and derivative stitches were used to make templates,and the fully fashioned slippers were produced on the same machine.Thirdly,sock shoe is a popular three-dimensional shoe.By the principle of 3D knitting,a three-dimensional socks shoe was designed and developed on the computerized flat knitting machine.Each step in the design process was understood in-depth,which has profound significance for the development of fully formed shoe uppers in the direction of diversification.The mechanical properties of three kinds of common shoe upper fabrics paper were also tested,including tensile properties,wear resistance and tear performances.According to the comparison and analysis of the testing results,learn about that under the same raw material conditions,the structures of fabric have different influence on the strength of the fabric.It is found that the longitudinal or transverse strength of the fabric is greater when the number of interwove loops of the needle bed is more.The main reason is that in this case the tensile strength of the fabric is not only to overcome the yarn,but also the interaction between yarns.The transverse and longitudinal extension of different fabrics all have their distinctive characteristics,but it can be concluded that the extension of fabric knitted on two needle beds is larger than that knitted on the single needle bed.The reason is that the distance between the adjacent needles in the front and back needles is generally larger than the adjacent needles of the same needle bed.The wear resistance of the upper fabric has a great relationship with the density of the fabric.The greater the density of the fabric is,the better the wear resistance of the fabric is.The wear resistance of the jacquard fabric is also closely related to the size/shape of and the raw material of the jacquard.The tear performance of the upper fabric has a great relationship with the fabric structure and the density of the fabric.When the muti system knitting fabric is torn longitudinally,the tightly connected rows of loops overcome the force together,so the tearing force is relatively large.When the fabric is teared transversely,the density of the fabric is more,the more yarn at the tearing of the fabric are teared at the same time,so the tearing force is also relatively large.The test results of these properties can provide a basis for future shoe upper fabric design.
