Particle reinforced composite materials,for their behaviors,have been utilized more and more widely in many industry fields,such as aerospace,automobile,biologic,military production,nuclear energy and so on.For particulate reinforced composites,the material properties can be improved by the particulate inclusion.On the other hand,the strength of fracture and fatigue will be decreased at the same time.Both the positive and negative effects depend on the size,shape and spatial distribution of those second phase microstructure,such as inclusions and voids.In this paper,by using digital image processing technology,recognizing inclusion information of particle reinforced composite materials,and then reading in the main program,after verifying the accuracy of the recognized inclusion information,by using the homogenization method combining the mesoscale and macroscale based on the Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method was presented by Ghosh,and then can obtaine the stress and strain field on mesoscale and effective property parameter on macroscale,verifying the effectiveness of the method by comparing the experimental results in the end.In this paper,the main work is listed as below:(1)In the first,by using digital image processing technology,coding the program that can be recognized inclusion information of particle reinforced composite materials,and then reading in inclusion.txt.(2)Modifying the part of the inclusion information of Voronoi cell was given by randomly and the part of drawing in the original program.(3)Taking PRMMCs-SiCp/AZ91 D magnesium matrix composites as the research object,based on the real microstructure,by means of VCFEM simulation calculation,researching the impact of the mesoscopic mechanics parameters such as particle distribution,volume fraction and exposure in composite materials on the composite quasi static mechanical behavior changes.(4)Summarizing the research contents in this paper and problems with the application of approached method,then making an expectation about the further research of this method.
