Special profile products have been widely used in human living life and played an important role in the bathroom valves and equipment manufacturing industry.Its complex surface structure and the larger radius of curvature increases the difficulty of polishing,The complex surface structure and large radius of curvature require the polishing system had higher control accuracy.Limited by foreign technical barriers and domestic polishing technology constraints,the current of the whole polishing industry production cost is high,the production efficiency is low,incomplete,the safety of the polishing production is accompanied by a series of environmental problems.Therefore,the design of special-shaped polishing equipment with Mature craftsmanship technology,environmental impact is relatively small,the cost relatively affordable has become an problem that desperately needs to be solved.Under this background,the polishing machine control system based on Delta 10 EMC motion control module is designed in this subject,the system has a high programming efficiency,easy operation,low price and other advantages.First of all,according to the basic requirements of the polishing machine control system,we have analyzied the system structure and polishing process of the traditional polishing machine,at the same time we designed the electrical control system and the whole control flow of the polishing machine,summarized the main factors affecting the polishing effect.About the control of polishing force,the paper analized the application scope and the advantages and disadvantages of the three control schemes.The two different trajectory interpolation theories used in this paper are studied,and the advantages and disadvantages of the two interpolation algorithms are analyzed.Secondly,through the analysis of the principle of servo and inverter,the hardware structure of the polishing machine control system is designed.Using Modbus andEtherCAT communication,to achieve the polishing machine between the hardware system communication.Thirdly,on the basis of the hardware system analysis,the software control system of the polishing machine is established,which implements the polishing machine manual control and automatic control.According to the specific requirements of the control system,the man-machine interface program is designed to achieve the control of the host computer to the lower compute.Combined with the actual problems existing in the polishing,polishing machine auxiliary control system is established,The auxiliary program realizes the automatic compensation of the coordinates of the polishing machine,the automatic adjustment of the polishing force,the automatic waxing of the polishing machine and the automatic interpolation of the polishing track,and fully realized the automatic control of the polishing machine.Finally,the overall control system of the polishing machine was debugged and the the result of polishing force test is passed.The surface roughness of the polished workpiece was sampled and recorded,and compared with the industry standard.The control system of the polishing machine was verified to meet the design requirements.
