Space debris poses a serious threat to the on-orbit mission of spacecraft.Many countries have included the impact of space debris as a key research issue during the space mission planning phase.At present,the protection design is the main means to improve the survivability of spacecraft toward space crushing.The assessment of spacecraft's survivability under space debris environment is an important basic work for protection designing.In the current risk assessment software,the spacecraft surface is divided into finite elements when calculating the space debris impact probability and the sensitivity calculation is performed on each face elements.The spacecraft has a complex structure and numerous surfaces.This method has the disadvantage of inefficiency.This approach also brings problems when combined with vulnerability algorithms: When analyzing the internal components of a spacecraft,it is difficult to obtain the specific parameters of the space debris that hit the internal components.Therefore,when calculating the breakdown and failure of the internal components,only a limited number of failure criteria can be applied.Aiming at these two problems,this paper proposes a spacecraft survivability assessment to space debris risk based on ray method.In this paper,The article introduced the overall plan for the assessment method of survivability,and the key factors and modeling methods that affect the spacecraft's survivability under space debris environment are given.The specific scheme of the spacecraft sensitivity analysis method based on the virtual exterior wall method and the spacecraft vulnerability analysis method compatible with multiple failure criteria are described.The key problems involved in the two are explained and the solutions are given.The vulnerability analysis was performed on three typical components,which proved that the algorithm can be compatible with multiple failure criteria.In order to solve the initial ray generation problem in the sensitivity algorithm,this paper proposes the virtual exterior wall method.The concrete implementation steps of the virtual exterior wall method are given.The correctness of the virtual exterior wall method and the sensitivity algorithm is verified through the simulation of the protection manual's standard working conditions.The conclusion that the sensitivity algorithm is more efficient than the S3 DE classical algorithm is obtained.Through the sensitivity simulation of the simplified space station,the influence of the characteristic parameters of the virtual exterior wall method on the sensitivity simulation effect is discussed.In order to simulate the trajectory and behavior of hypervelocity impact debris cloud,a method of simulating fragment clouds with rays is proposed in this paper,and the specific implementation steps of the method are given.This method is used to simulate the debris cloud generated by debris impacting the Whipple structure.Simulation results and real objects The simulation results are consistent with the results of the physical experiment,which proves the correctness of the method..The software development was carried out based on the method of ray method space debris impact spacecraft survivability assessment.The developed software was used as a survivability solution model of the survival assessment software S3 DE,and the overall framework and operation interface of the software were introduced.The application software analyzes the survivability of the simulated satellite.The analysis results are consistent with the results of the S3 DE classical algorithm,which proves the correctness of the survivability algorithm proposed in this paper.The research results of this paper provide a space debris impact spacecraft survival analysis program that is efficient and supports a variety of failure criteria,and gives solutions to its key problems.The research has certain engineering application value.
