The increasing frequency of space activities has resulted in an increase in the number of space debris on the orbit,and the probability of multiple impacts at the same location on an orbiting spacecraft or simultaneous impacts at adjacent locations has greatly increased.With the imminent completion and use of China's space stations,the damage and protection problems of multiple space debris impacting spacecraft at the same time and the cumulative damage effects of small space debris impacting multiple orbiting spacecraft have received considerable attention.At present,the damage and protection characteristics of the spacecraft protection structure under the impact of single projectile hypervelocity impact are extensive at home and abroad,but the research on the coupling damage effect of multiple projectiles impacting the spacecraft at the same time is still in its infancy.Based on the research of single projectile high-velocity impact,the damage characteristics of the Whipple shielding structure and the basalt fiber fabric shielding structure with high-speed impact of multiple projectiles were studied by experiments,numerical simulations and theoretical methods.Stress wave analysis of the process,the main research content is as follows:Under the impact velocity of the ballistic section and the impact velocity of the crushing section,experiments were carried out to test the structure of the Whipple shielding structure and the basalt fiber fabric shielding structure against the impact of multiple projectiles at high speed.The damage characteristics of the two projectiles impacted by multiple projectiles were analyzed,and the number of different projectiles and the velocity of the projectile were analyzed.The effect of protective structure protective performance.Through the numerical simulation of the Whipple shield structure with multiple projectiles impacting at high speed,the effects of projectile spacing,projectile velocity,projectile mass,and the number of projectiles on the damage characteristics of the protective structure were analyzed.The impact velocity of multiple projectiles was studied to study the protective structure under certain conditions.The critical projectile spacing for piercing failure was analyzed for the cumulative damage of multiple projectile impacts in the crushing section.Summing up the reasons that affect the degree of damage of the rear plate of aluminum Whipple shield structure,analyze the stress wave during the collision of the projectile and target plate,study the crushing mechanism of the projectile and target during the impact process,and push the residual kinetic energy formula of the missile pill penetrating the front plate.The protective performance of the Whipple shieldingstructure was studied from the aspects of impact kinetic energy change and debris cloud characteristics.
