Manganese elemental and compound is the important raw materials in the industry,electrolysis method is the main method to produce manganese.There are some problems during the production: the acid leaching rate of manganese is low,filter cakes contain lots of water and manganese after filtering process,so the utilization rate of manganese is low;manganese tailings may leach harmful material and pollute the environment.Industry is developing rapidly in our country those years,and the demand for manganese is larger and larger,to improve the utilization rate of manganese ore resources and reduce the environment problem caused by the manganese tailings has important significance for the sustainable development of electrolytic manganese industry.To solve the above problems,this paper based on optimizing the manganese ore acid leaching process,diaphragm pressure filtration process,and using the manganese tailings to make consolidation material and research its leaching toxicity under different solutions,thus it can put some new ideas to improve the utilization of manganese ore and manganese tailings.The results show that:(1)In the research of manganese ore acid leaching with sulfuric acid,using the method of single factor and response surface analysis to research the influence of acid leaching time,acid leaching solid-liquid ratio and mineral acid ratio and the effect of stirring intensity,it shows that acid leaching time is most significant,and the intensity of stirring is the least.When acid leaching time is 4 h,mineral-acid ratio(mass mass ratio)is 1:1.8,solid-liquid ratio(mass volume ratio)is 1:15,acid leaching rate is up to 95%.(2)In the research of diaphragm squeezing,different conditions such as the feeding way,the filter cloth type,diaphragm and water conditions is researched,the results show that using the method of gradually step up feeding,high feed temperature,pH in weak acid can ensure a normal diaphragm squeezing and washing.Changing the parameters of watering and diaphragm squeezing,the final filter cake moisture content is at 28%?29%,manganese content is between 1.3%?1.8%,to research the effect of filter cloth type and number of times of pressure filtering,it shows that filter cloth with smaller permeability rate has the slower speed,and with the extension of filter cloth used times,the filter speed decreases.(3)In the research of using manganese tailings and high performance gelling agent to make consolidation material,using single factor and orthogonal test method to study the leaching toxicity under different conditions of leaching,and the result shows that pH has the largest influence on the,when pH is low,the leaching toxicity is large,leaching time and solid-liquid ratio have lower influence.Using SEM and XRD characterization during different curing period,it shows that when curing time is 16 d,combination state manganese content is the highest,and the leaching toxicity is the lowest.
