The rapid development of China’s economy has greatly increased the number of mining manganese ore, while manganese tailings produced annually will reach more than180million t. Tailings stone piled up in the open air not only occupy a lot of land, but also in the long-term geophysical, chemical weathering, leaching of natural rainfall, it will release a large amount of pollutants, causing serious pollution to the surrounding soil and groundwater. Because it is difficult to control and recovery once the groundwater was polluted, so more and more people will focus on this aspect. To provide a scientific support and theoretical basis for leach ate control and treatment of heavy metal pollution released by studying the mechanism of manganese ore tailings leaching heavy metal manganese. Then create manganese dissolved heavy metals in tailings leach ate concentration prediction model release, and measures for the tailings leach ate management program provides a reference on the basis of laboratory simulation.This paper takes Hunan Xiangtan manganese mine tailings as the research object, and has a full understanding of on the heavy metal elements in tailings release of dissolved manganese pollution to the surrounding environment in which at home and abroad. The collected soil samples and water samples will be tested of heavy metals, and indoor static leaching experiment and dynamic leaching experiment. Through the research on the release of Heavy Metal Manganese Tailings in laws, which to establish the forecast model of tailings leach ate concentrations of heavy metals, and on this basis put forward some measures to control the tailings leach ate. The results showed that:manganese ore tailings belong to hazardous waste, tailings leaching of heavy metals and leaching of the pH value of the medium, tailings particle size, agitation, solid-liquid ratio and other factors have a great relationship. The tailings of heavy metals in simulated acid rain leaching under the conditions of the dynamic release of exponential attenuation model, and then calculated the permeability prediction model of heavy metal concentration in the filtrate release of dissolved manganese ore tailings.It can get an intuitive data when using the model to predict the release of tailings leaching solution, thus play a role in early warning of the tailings of manganese pollution.Through simulation experiments and release of dissolved heavy metals in the leach ate solubility prediction and the corresponding control measures, which could provide environmental pollution ore tailings as a practical way, while manganese ore tailings pond construction and management also has a certain reference value. Manganese ore leaching solution can penetrate the soil into groundwater, and potential threats to the nearby residents of drinking water, which should cause the attention of the relevant departments.
