This paper discusses the influence of different rendering methods on the reading effect of digital control textbooks from the empirical perspective.The study consists of two parts:The first research which adopts 2(article type: general material and professional materials)x 2(Illustration: yes and no)two factors were designed in the experiment,The discussion of CNlearners for different materials have and no illustrations when reading eye movement data is whether there are differences,and then explores the relationship between the effect and the eye movement mode of illustration.The second research which adopts2(separation mode: first the figure,first the graph)x 4(near mode: above,below and above the left right,left the right)of the two factors within subjects design.The further study of NC learners for the graphic showing whether different eye movement data when reading the different way then,to explore the relationship between illustration effect and eye movement pattern.According to the analysis and discussion of the experimental data,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)whether or not illustrations had significant effect on reading performance and reading time of subjects,and the reading scores of illustrations were significantly higher than those without illustrations,and the reading time of illustrations was significantly less than that of illustrations without reading materials.(2)There are no illustrations in the subjects reading materials in the process of the total fixation frequency,average fixation duration,average saccade distance and blink significant main effect,the specific performance is the total fixation subjects under the condition of less number of illustrations and average fixation time shorter,the average saccade distance is greater,blink less;(3)When reading professional materials,different separation reading scores and reading time,total fixation frequency,average fixation time difference and blink eye movement,after the first reading effect figure subjects test was to carry after reading effect;(4)When reading materials,different ways of approaching the subjects’ reading achievement differences,differences also existed in the average saccade distance and area map of the eye movement index,the effect of the effect of reading literacy test was good in other subjects near the.According to the results,the following suggestions are put forward in the design of the teaching materials for numerical control and the teaching of numerical control:(1)The drawings and texts are closely matched and complementary to each other.;(2)Combined with the learning characteristics of numerical control students,the professional features are highlighted;(3)Drawings and texts are closely matched and complementary to each other;(4)Attach great importance to the role of illustrations and guide good reading habits.;(5)Using all kinds of modern teaching methods to improve the students’ enthusiasm for learning.;(6)Strengthen the experience of practice training in class,realize the integration of graphics and text,and improve the efficiency of literacy;(7)Comprehensive students’ cognitive ability and subject nature "teach students in accordance with their aptitude" to improve the breadth of reading;(8)Cultivate good learning habits and pay attention to the training of students’ attention.
