Polymeric dyes are combinations between macromolecular substances and small molecules at the molecular level,polymeric dyes have many superior properties due to the combination of molecular level,therefore,polymeric dyes are widely used in pigment dyeing and pigment printing.Although polymeric dyes have the advantage of energy saving and emission reduction in pigment dyeing,there are still some defects,such as low fastness and poor hand feeling.Acrylic copolymer macromolecules have many functional groups,so they can react with dyes and environmental friendly crosslinking agents,and then,soft molecular membrane is formed on the surface of the fabric.It can not only overcome the problem of low friction and poor hand feeling when polymeric dyes used in pigment dyeing,and can meet people's requirements for fabric performance,so this paper mainly studies the synthesis of acrylic copolymer dyes and its pigment dyeing.This paper mainly studied Acrylic acid copolymers were synthesized by seed emulsion polymerization with monomers such as hydroxyethyl acrylate and acrylic acid.Small molecule dyes were combined with latex particles to prepare acrylic copolymer type macromolecule dyes,then Acrylic macromolecule dyes were used for dyeing fabrics by pigment dyeing under normal temperature.and discussed the effects of the quality ratio of acrylic acid and hydroxyethyl acrylate on the properties of emulsion and fabrics dyed by acrylic copolymers cathilon blue X-GRRL and acrylic copolymers reactive brilliant blue KN-R.The results indicated that there were less gels appearing in the process of producing acrylic acid copolymers and the storage stability of the emulsion was best when m(AA):m(HEA)was 0:10,and the gel fraction was 0.76%.m(AA):m(HEA)did not have effects on the properties of fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers cathilon blue XGRRL,but had a certain effect on the properties of fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers reactive brilliant blue KN-R,the dyeing performance of the fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers reactive brilliant blue KN-R was best when m(AA):m(HEA)was 4:6.There were two kinds of acrylic copolymer type macromolecule dyes in this paper,such as acrylic copolymers cathilon blue X-GRRL and acrylic acid copolymers reactive brilliant blue KNR,when they were used to dye cotton fabric,the research indicated that dyeing properties of cotton fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers cathilon blue X-GRRL were inferior to dyeing properties of cotton fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers reactive brilliant blue KN-R under the same reaction condition and pigment dyeing condition,the wet rubbing fastness of cotton fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers cathilon blue X-GRRL was 4 level,its washing cotton and nylon staining fastness were 2-3 level and 2 level,and best washing fade fastness was 1-2 level,the wet rubbing fastness of cotton fabric dyed by acrylic copolymers reactive brilliant blue KN-R was 5 level,and its cotton staining fastness and nylon staining fastness were 5 level and 4-5 level,the best washing fade fastness was 3 level.This paper studied the reaction condition of reactive brilliant blue KN-R and acrylic copolymer when acrylic copolymer reactive brilliant blue KN-R was used in pigment dyeing of cotton fabric,and the influence of some factors on the dyeing properties of fabric was discussed,such as m(acrylic copolymers):m(dyes),loading reaction time,loading reaction temperature and acrylic copolymer p H.The results indicated that the best reaction condition of reactive brilliant blue KN-R and acrylic copolymer was: p H 8,reaction temperature 60?,reaction time 90 min,m(acrylic copolymers): m(dyes)was 25:1.The best reaction conditions of acrylic copolymer reactive brilliant blue KN-R used in pigment dyeing of 65/35 polyester/cotton fabric was: p H 7 or 8,reaction temperature 70?,reaction time 90 min,m(acrylic copolymers):m(dyes)was 20:1.
